Kightly is more than adequate for a few months on loan to cover an injury.

If Lallana is injured, we should be targeting Michael Kightly on loan from Wolves imo. Don't think he's in Wolves' 25 because he was injured for the first part of the season, but he'd be quality at this level.

A point is a point, we could have easily given away a sloppy goal and be in a far more precarious position than we are in now. Sounded like an awful game though, glad I spent my ticket money on a bottle of Absinthe instead. Onwards and upwards Saints!

I'm in halls now in Bassett, looking at student houses in Portswood for Year 2 with my current flatmates who I get on very well with. Guess i'm lucky in the fact that, of the 15 other people on my floor, there's nobody I don't get on with so i'm going to be living with people I know and like for the next 2 years. Rocker - my plan was to have a look round the city centre when I come back in September to see what's going, I have a job at the moment but I couldn't pay my way with it next year because it's only £5 an hour! I know a few people who work at Sobar, that might be my best bet for a job, i'll talk to them about it. TopGun - Thanks for the post, very helpful! Highfield Lane is a good shout, although i'd prefer to be more in the centre of Portswood and further from campus than the other way around. We've been recommended the SASSH.co.uk site, which has a list of available properties from University-trusted landlords (none of which have emailed me back about a viewing almost 3 days after I enquired!), so we're going through there at the moment. Prices are ranging from about £52-£75 a week, so decent enough. Deppo - Thanks Dune, for a life lesson I will never forget.

It's all about Sardinia Baj, you might have to spend a little more but you get much more bang for your buck. Plenty of great hotels in Locorotondo, near Bari.

Thanks for the help guys, i've been to Portswood a fair few times now but don't know that much about the area as a whole so it's good to get some more info. I think i've used the toilet in Mango before, Turkish, it seemed like a nice place. Is it the really small place opposite the pub, on the corner? The sklep shops aren't too bad depending on what you want really either!

Hello my fellow SWFers. I'm currently embroiled in the process of finding a student house for my next academic year, and i'm looking in Portswood. Just wondering if anyone lives in Portswood (or knows the area well) and could tell me a little bit about living in the area. The houses that we're looking at are in the Livingstone Road area, just round the corner from Waitrose. I know plenty about the nightlife (as does my liver), but I don't know very much about good food shops in the area, whether there's much traffic on the roads and how noisy it is during the daytime. Thanks!

Yes, I would be happy with that. Any improvements needed for the squad to progress can be made in the summer when we have more time and probably a larger budget. The squad we have now is more than adequate to get automatic promotion, and that's what we're headed for at the moment.
