I think we'll almost certainly get someone in this week, although I think we'll be looking for permanent transfers atm and then maybe seek out some loans after the transfer window closes.

According to the Italian press, 3 Serie A clubs, including Brescia, Galatasaray and also lots of English and Scottish clubs have indicated their interest. (My translation of the article) Would love to see Papa back here, but I can't help but feel he's above our station at the moment.

Never really got into PES, the most recent editions of FIFA have been far superior.

Fair enough - but most Prem youngsters aren't going to want to sit about all season in the reserves. If Carlisle can attract James Chester then we could attract bigger and better, which is very promising!

Good about Waigo, he adds something different to the team and looked like he was really enjoying himself out there last season (when he wasn't offside!). Not worried about AP's future here this season, as I have confidence in his ability to guide us to where we deserve to be. We will be in and around automatic promotion (at least) by Christmas, and that's where we'll stay. As long as we go up this season, I think AP's future here is safe, and I hope he's manager here for many years to come.

FM10 is brilliant, it's taken all the best parts of FM09 (which moved the series on) and improved them even more. The 3D match engine is much better and smoother and it's always nice to play with an up-to-date database.

If Carlisle can loan one of Man Utd's most promising youngsters, then the potential is there for us to loan some quality youngsters too from the Prem, what with the 25 man rule.

Yes, but this was a pre-season friendly. The team that will start the LEAGUE match next week will be considerably stronger, and with players like Lambert etc restored.
