  1. Why is Dog banned?
  2. Can you see every single creditor voting in favour of the CVA? I can't.
  3. I have a Weimeraner, and he's usually left alone from 8am until about 3pm, which works fine for him, as he usually just sleeps. We take him for a good walk in the morning (at least 30mins) and that seems to settle him down and keep his energy down for the rest of the day. He's nearly 2 years old now, but when we first got him as a 6 month old pup he was very hyperactive and destructive when left alone for extended periods of time, and even now he whines if there's someone else in the house but they're not with him. Hiring a dog walker would be a great idea, as it means that they're not alone all day in the house, and the companies that I know of walk dogs 4 or 5 at a time, so they get a good run around with lots of other dogs, which tires them out.
  4. Fantastic news if HMRC has 25% of the vote, because there's no way in hell that the remaining 75% of shareholders will vote in favour imo. We could be seeing the backs of the nasty skates sooner than we thought...
  5. What about Durleyfos? Used to see him round all the time...
  6. RIP to a great drummer Anyone notice that his mother is called Mable Cable though? Thought that was morbidly amusing...
  7. Watching the game on mute now, those horns are ferking annoying.
  8. If you've not had reptiles before, start with something like a Gecko and work your way up. That's my advice anyway.
  9. Dundee won't be wanting to let him go, he's their key man now. Morgaro Gomis might be worth a shot though, combatative central midfielder who's come up from non-league to be a key player at Dundee, would be perfect for this league.
  10. p1ss (and)
  11. Doing one with some mates, we're doing it by groups. £10 entry, winner gets £50, second gets £20 and third gets £10. I got the group with Italy, Paraguay, Slovakia and New Zealand, so not too bad I guess! I had Italy down to win the WC in the first place as well...
  12. I can produce copious amounts of sweat by just being outside in this weather for more than 20 seconds.
  13. Filipe Morais is leaving St Johnstone at the end of the season. St Johnstone are my second team, and Morais is a key player for them. Very skilful and creative winger, can play on both sides and in the middle behind an attacker. Would be free, cheap wages and a good squad player, especially since he has played for MK Dons and Millwall in League One.
  14. Worryingly, Football Manager says he is a "Similar type of player to Paul Wotton". Get rid now!
  15. It's more about raising the profile of a company or organisation than selling a product. Generally, adverts showing off a particular product will steer away from what people may find annoying and rely on star power. Look at the likes of Pepsi, they contract massive celebrities, athletes and personalities to appear in their adverts, and I can't remember the last time somebody was complaining about "that advert with all the football players". Often, smaller companies or organisations won't rely on star power (although some like SwiftCover use celebrities like Iggy Pop) and will focus on creating 'viral' adverts instead as they don't have the money to attract these big stars like Pepsi do. Viral advertising spawned from the rise of YouTube and the ability to find these amazing videos of things happening all over the world that people can watch on their computers. Obviously, advertising mercenaries wanted to capitalise on that, so we ended up with stuff like the Honda advert 'The Cog' ( ) which has the effect of one of those videos in a sense that people will discuss it and therefore raise the profile of the company. The ones that people complain about nowadays are poor imitations of the original viral adverts, designed to introduce cheap, gimmicky catchphrases and 'kooky' characters such as the Go Compare opera singer. These are the ones that make people skip the adverts.
  16. Especially as England have played pretty unconvincingly in their warm-up games against lesser sides, whereas the USA have been really impressive. Not many teams can boast that they've beaten Spain over the last couple of years. I think there will almost certainly be a shock win for USA, 2-0 by HT, 3-1 at FT.
  17. Ron, I admire you so much for closing your Halifax account because those adverts just make me want to self-harm every time they come on. First they had the ones when they made some fat bird from Macclesfield singing about their 0% APR account whilst surfing or something, and now the radio ones. The GoCompare adverts make me want to go Derrick as well. Adverts do insult our intelligence, but ultimately, the more annoying an advert, the more people will talk about it and the more publicity the product will get, which is what the advert was meant to be doing in the first place.
  18. USA are very underrated, I reckon they'll get to the Semis tbh.
  19. If Cortese goes, so does Liebherr, that's been stated.
  20. Not much of a fan if you're complaining about having to spend £3 to book a ticket and trying to undermine the chairman on everything.
  21. It was fun bottling Bring Me The Horizon though, making them feel the wrath of Slipknot pulling out!
  22. When Alpine Saint is calling you pathetic, you know it's time to pack it in really. Did your NF march not go well today or something Stanley? You just seem a bit grumpier than usual, you're always such a polite, understanding and cohesive chap. FWIW, I will answer to the OP rather than just aiming the usual insults at him. At the end of the day, what's £3 if you want to buy a ticket every now and then? That tax isn't going to apply to ST holders that go every week, it's mainly aimed at people who choose to go when they please rather than when they are obliged. And as for the lack of installation payments, it was a bit underhand to not inform people of it not being included, but it's not the end of the world, and certainly not worth boycotting the club over.
