George Boateng - Midfield general, just what we need. Febian Brandy - Deadly quick forward who has played at L1 level before with Peterborough. Ben Burgess - Powerful target man with a scorching long shot Liam Chilvers - Dominant centre back, rarely loses a header. Amdy Faye - Brick sh!thouse centre mid. Marlon Harewood - Powerful and pacy striker, also has links to Pardew as he signed him for West Ham. Sam Hewson - Promising central midfielder from Man Utd, surprised he's been released. Gavin McCann - Tough tackling centre mid, very experienced and capped for England. Benjani - Would be difficult to attract him to a L1 club, but he would star at this level. Erik Nevland - Again, would be difficult to attract but he's very good in the air and is a Norway international. Lloyd Sam - YES! YES! YES! Pacy winger with a killer cross, THIS IS THE PLAYER WE SHOULD SIGN!

Are you implying that watching paint dry is more exciting than what happens in Landy's bed?

Everyone was sh1t tonight, if England put out a B-team then they will lose. Rooney is the star player, and he needs to prove himself by scoring against Slovenia.
-
He won't be sacked, he was umm-ing and ahh-ing about signing a contract extension to give him another year after the WC but I believe there's a clause in his contract that enables him to leave if England don't get past the Quarter Finals. As for the team for Slovenia, i'd still pick the team I posted up earlier with a few minor changes: -----------------Hart----------------- Johnson----Terry----Dawson----A.Cole Lennon-----Barry----Carrick-----J.Cole ----------------Gerrard---------------- ----------------Rooney---------------- It's a toss-up between Lennon and Milner for the RM slot, but I think Lennon did enough today to justify his place in the starting lineup for Wednesday. The rest of the team really need to get their act together though, won't look good on their footballing CV if they were part of the England team touted as one of the big favourites before the tournament but went out in a group containing Slovenia, Algeria and the USA. I don't even support England and i'm getting angry about it FFS!

Missed that first time round, thanks for posting MLG. Good to know that we've got some real talent coming through the youth system, with players like McNish, Gobern, Racine etc in the reserves and youngsters such as Oxlade-Chamberlain, Ward-Prowse and Doble turning heads, it looks like the future's bright, IT'S RED AND WHITE!

Absolutely, what a sh1tty thing to say to the fans who have paid thousands of pounds to come out to a country thousands of miles away from home just to watch their team play, and they can't even beat f*cking Algeria. I like Rooney, but what a c*ntish thing to say. On a side note, at least England fans can take positives from that performance in that Capello will certainly shake things up for the Slovenia game, no way will he start with that same XI. At the moment, I can't see England qualifying from the group. Slovenia and USA have played much better in their two games than England have.

Is it really a blatant lie though? Everything to do with club administration will ultimately incurr costs somewhere along the line. There are about 4 or 5 other threads on this subject in which people have given adequate reasoning against your argument, so instead of wasting my time typing out another one myself, I would ask you to re-read the numerous other threads created by you about this particular subject matter. Kthxbai.

Just what we need - another thread created by SRS complaining about the club's handling of the installment plan issue. It's the sign of an ego-maniac when he interprets the club saying "We will not enter into a debate on this issue" as "You're so right Stuey, however could we doubt you?". Let it die FFS, they're not doing it this year. End. Of.

Hastily reduced odds right now I should imagine!

Good luck with that, although if it doesn't work then it probably means you have facial crabs.

Bit early to be saying that!

She's from Reading, close enough! Such an excellent album though, there's some really beautiful songs on there. Looking forward to seeing her next Saturday evening up at The Park stage at Glastonbury, one of the most serene and calm places onsite! Going to be brilliant He does come across as a busker I suppose, but he's immensely talented. Have you seen him live? If not, I suggest you get yourself a ticket to one of his gigs, he really is uh-may-zing live. Watch http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rjT86g9gTKk and tell me that's not f*cking brilliant!

I am also growing a beard, although it's not going very well as it's more wispy bumfluff than proper manly 'Chuck Norris' styley. Best tip for an itchy beard is to lather it up as if you were going to shave with shaving gel/foam and then just wash it off in the shower. Most shaving gels contain anti-irritant agents so that ought to solve your problem for a bit anyway.

One of the worst refereeing performances i've seen in a long time - and that includes all of Saints' games this season! I hope the Germans lodge an official complaint because that's not the standard of refereeing that there should be at the World Cup. League One, maybe. World Cup, no.

The Good, The Bad, The Weird Noticed this was showing on Sky Premiere the other day, so I recorded it and watched it today. Korean cinema is harbouring a growing reputation nowadays with some good films coming out in past years, and this one I would add to the list personally. It's got a minimal amount to do with The Good, The Bad and The Ugly, I think that was just a marketing gimmick to get people's attention (hey, it got mine!). The story basically revolves around a hidden treasure, to which a bumbling bandit attains the map after a glorious shootout on a train heading through the desert. As he sets off to find the treasure, little does he know that it's also being pursued by the most feared outlaw in the entire land (with a nice little emo haircut), a bounty hunter out to stop the aforementioned outlaw, the japanese army and various other gangs of bandits. Basically, it's not an intellectual film. The cinematography is great however, and there are some really good fight scenes which will make you go "Ooh". There is a real nostalgic feel to the film as well, and you can see that the director has really put a personal touch into it because he was encapsulated by westerns when he was growing up, so there are a lot of homages and little touches that some people will recognise. There is a particularly epic chase scene near the end which involves motorbikes, cars, horses, mortar shells, more horses and a lot of shooting which makes the film really! All in all, quite enjoyable and a fun way to spend an hour and a half. 7/10

Oh great - this argument again. Look Dune, if you want to complain about the exams, perhaps first you should try sitting some of these exams that you're proclaiming are too easy. It might just shut you up. I suppose you also think that having your "exams are easier" statement vindicated by a 'think tank' means that it's 100% correct. Sitting round with your mates (if you have any) in the pub discussing things could be classified as a think tank, so I guess now it's fact that Keira Knightley would 'get one' and England are going to win the World Cup.

Cannot f*cking believe that the slimey bastards got away with the CVA vote, just got to hope now that HMRC pulls out all the stops to get the sh1tty little club liquidated.

+1 Went to Africa in the summer and saw the poverty and desolation that some people live in, and while South Africa is one of the wealthiest African countries in terms of GDP, there is still unbelievable amounts of poverty all over the country. While it's good that SA are hosting the world cup, I can't help but think that the SA government need to get their priorities straight and start thinking of the welfare of the South African people before sporting events.

Blimey, the season finishes and all of a sudden we're slagging off Harding who was easily one of our best players last season and Barnard who came in at a time when we were short on strikers and scored quite a few goals to push us closer to the play-offs! This place is f*cking mental! Suppose you'll be saying that Rickie was crap last season and we should sign somebody else instead next...
-
The difference in those two games being that Germany were brilliant and England were sh1t.

Burley will do f*ck all at Palarse without a transfer budget. Probably get them relegated.
