Who cares tbh. This season has ended up very forgettable after a fantastic start and we are in big trouble next season
-
Forster is by far and away the best keeper we have and has looked good since being back in the 1st team. Rotation is ridiculous when you have one keeper so significantly better than the other. Don't just blame the keepers - we have a bang average squad. Walcott, Djneppo, Redmond, Minamino, Stephens, Bednarek and others would struggle to get in another Prem side. We have very little quality throughout the squad and will, rightly, be tagged as relegation candidates next season without a massive overhaul.
-
OMG - rotation of keepers? McCarthy is shockingly bad - how on earth did he let that in. Embarrassing in the extreme

To be fair, as with any business any info will/should be very limited as NDAs should ensure that minimal info can be provided. That's why, typically, the first thing you'll hear, publicly, in business is when it gets to the due diligence phase. Until that moment 'loose lips cost lives' and can derail things very quickly. Where would the fun be if we can't speculate on these things?

There are some right t***s on here - Jack was excellent yesterday and I don;t think it is any coincidence we have looked stronger since he came back in the side. Certainly even at LB he offered more leadership and control than Bertrand for most of the season. The posters that say "mistakes can't happen" are clueless - everyone makes mistakes, even the top, top players. Stephens has leadership qualities that are sadly lacking from our squad. The comments about Benali sum things up: I would rather have leaders and 100% committed players out there giving it their all rather than players who are not committed and disappear when the going gets tough (which is most of our squad).

Pretty solid display - but won;t play many worse teams than Fulham. Salisu, Tella, JWP, Adams all excellent. Felt Minamino and Redmond were very poor: both are very slow thinkers and the game is too quick for them. Minamino is just not suited to the PL. Loved Tella's enthusiasm and beaming smile!

What is to be lost by trying the lad out properly now? He looked very promising in his sub appearances - certainly far more about him than some of the other youngsters that have played.
-
Utter waste of space - just like Theo
-
Yep, he stood still for the penalty and it hit him. He is a far superior keeper to McCarthy and back in form. Really pleased for the big guy
-
Bloody hell, Bednarek is awful. Shame on Ralph for continuing to play the same rubbish week in week out. Absolute garbage this is. We are stuffed next season - this is as bad a squad as we have had for years. And the manager is pony too.
-
He's simply not a good manager over an extended period of time. One trick pony
-
What on earth does the lad need to do to start. Diallo has been awful recently
-
Please do not give either Walcott or Bertrand a new contract. neither are good enough
-
Never a penalty
-
WTF was that substitution from Saints about? They look all over the place and what sort of s**te attempt at a save from Macarthy was that?
-
No Bertrand? He looks like a player that can be a nuisance when things are not going well but all brightness and light when things are going well.
-
Where was this performance on Sunday?
-
Wow, just wow! Hoping for the best and expecting the worst. Assume Salisu at LB unless he is going 3 at the back. They should waltz through the middle of the park - Armstrong is an attacking midfielder not a holding midfielder. Do not understand the recall for Macarthy at all.....Forster has actually done nothing wrong.
-
You do understand the irony of what you have just posted don't you? Teams forming new League bad but OK to pillage other Leagues to invite them into the Premier league. And the difference is what exactly?

Honestly, living here in the US I think you may have miscalculated (as have some of the owners of the 'Big 6') the American view on this. Kroenke is a piece of scum and moved the Rams from St Louis to LA without a moments thought - the American view on sports is very different and all franchise based without any promotion/relegation considerations. It works in the US context because of College drafts (baseball, ice hockey, NFL, MLS and other sports all operate this way) and without the concept of transfer fees (typically trading players for draft picks, etc) and with salary caps. What these pieces of s**t are talking about is nothing more than a money grab. As for the comments about "legacy fans" - that sums them up and how badly they have miscalculated the reaction. They might not care now but the plastic fans won't hang around when "their" team does badly and we already know what the endgame for these c**ts is: lots of games in the Far East and the US to maximize the amount of money they can make. Diabolical and hope the UK Government puts paid to this.

Good day for the scum Levy to bury bad news eh? Rotten club. Spurs and Arsenal "Super League" material my arse. All about the money
-
Just like the players, couldn't give a toss and no interest in the rest of the season
-
Suggest a bit of both. No way should Bertrand or Walcott get new contracts - I think we are stuck with Ralph as we can't afford to get rid of him. But Saints are a shambles and, like previous comments, I fear for next season
-
No Plan B, timid, pathetic performances and today was the final straw. No ambition, attacking intent and cowardly.
-
How is this any different from the Pellegrino/Hughes era? I actually think they had more fight then than they do now. Abject, pathetic performance and if Bertrand, Redmond and Walcott never pulled on a Saints shirt again I'd be happy. Also be quite happy if Ralph leaves in the summer - he really doesn't seem to have a clue
