  1. Ings and Mo look class. There is hope.
  2. this is a very worrying first 20 minutes of the season. Lot of problems that won't be sorted by the team gelling. Austin too slow, Redmond not good enough, Lemina isolated in midfield, 4 center backs that wouldn't make a good one if you could add them all together. Nothing going forward and Burnley keeping possession as easily as Barca would against us.
  3. Yep, it's gone. But I enjoyed it. I enjoyed the rise back up to the Prem. The first 4 seasons in it and eventually qualifying for Europe. Our poor effort in that still bites because most of us know that opportunity comes around almost as infrequently as an England World Cup semi-final. Still there were plenty of moaners here even during the golden years of 2010-2016.
  4. 83/84 14 years old and the memories remain. 8-2 thrashing of Coventry, Little Danny Wallace terrifying defenders, the return of Golac, up to Sheffield for a 0-0 cup game, seeing us beat them 5-1 in the replay to reach the semis, Pompey away and Moran in the last minute, Danny Wallace against Liverpool and his goal of the season maybe Saints goal of the century. What a season. Blistering stuff.
  5. Cheers Hughesy but Arsene Wegner
  6. Charming, you must be a right treasure.
  7. Dusan must have read that Times article about wage cuts if relegated. He's playing a blinder depsite still being a tosspot. Kills me that our best player is so unlikable. Still if he keeps us up.,..
  8. Wenger for Saints! Make it happen Les.
  9. Tadic battles on into the 3rd minute before hitting the deck in 'agony' at the first challenge. Hope that c u next tuesday is gone this summer
  10. The sooner Redmond goes bald the happier I'll be.
  11. El capitan there getting outpaced by Allbrighton, followed by his left sided partner Tadic slinging a lazy cross about 6 feet over the heads of the 2 platers (not going to correct that) that had made it into the box
  12. 1 minute 48 seconds for Tadic to hit the floor clutching face. He's been quicker this season. Liverpool was under the 40 second mark. Showing his balls no doubt.
  13. Yeah I would rather watch that than watch the games we threw points away in against Huddersfield, Watford, Brighton and Burnley. Even though we lost in a gut wrenching fashion I actually enjoyed the game more than the **** shows we endured earlier in the season against teams we SHOULD have beat.
  14. state the obvious and if we'd played like that the last 8 games we wouldn't be going down,
  15. and there is Tadic showing his balls and jumping over the tackle. Tosspot.
  16. Love this Sky commentator who not only gets in for free but actually get paid to spew his nonsense bemoaning Arsenal fans for not forking out 60 odd quid to watch them play a team in the bottom 3
  17. That's the problem, the players aren't in danger the club is. Players like Tadic and Cedric won't be playing in the championship for long if at all. They've got a world cup to look forward, followed by a nice summer holiday and nice signing on bonus with their new teams. They don't want to get injured and couldn't care less if we went down.
  18. From the 45 minutes I stomached I'd say Redmond and Cedric were not really committed. The others looked more inept than unreliable but not for want of trying.
  19. well at least I won't have to bother watching the 2nd half, don't think there's a player in a saints shirt out there that doesn't fully deserve a punch in ****ing face.
  20. COWARDS. DESPICABLE PARASITES.
  21. What a despicable bunch of cowards. From the boardroom to the dross on the pitch. No pride and blown away by one of the poorest teams in the league.
  22. the Black Box, Bob Higgins, and Benali's 'tache all skillfully sculpted by the bloke that did the Ted Bates mark I statue.
  23. Done what City couldn't. Come on Saints! Need a Carillo goal and a Boufal special
  24. well this is a lot more fun to watch. Not great football, but it's not as slow as an Iranian entry in a women's international film festival
  25. I'm not sure I could ever not support Saints. I can see myself being disinterested but I'll always look up the result as the game finished. Mark Hughes being appointed may very well test that resolve to the limit. Certainly wouldn't give the club any of my money in the way of purchasing tickets while he was in charge. I pray it's a stop gap until the season at worst and that it's just paper nonsense at best.
