I don't have a forum friend, which causes me to punch my parrots repeatedly until they lisp when they squark. I did however meet Hatch once, and found him to be most likeable, especially as we quaffed alcohol copiously, as we intoxicated ourselves side by side in Windsor's 'finest' establishments. When you like everyone, it's very hard to have just one friend.

The biggest change for me is bell peppers. I used to hate them and now I'll have them whenever they're available. I'm also over my onion hatred - it's true, it does make food taste better, though I'm still not a fan of them raw. Also cauliflower, broccolli, chillies, curry (my parents used to buy me fish and chips when they had a curry), different types of fish (besides battered cod), coffee (I swear I'm addicted to it now) and dark chocolate. Of the ones I remember...

Keep them on topic! :-) The Skates saga thread you would need About seventy-three days to read Still it's worth going through If you haven't a clue Of this story of woe, lies and greed.

Nah it's just a silly meme. I'm not sure anyone truly knows what's going on!

Not currently but I reckon he'd love a change of scenery - would he play better with our players around him? Possibly. Still there's not many strikers good enough to play the lone strikers role, as Lambert is doing exceptionally.

Most important player signing of past 3.5 years?

At what cost though? English players for some reason cost a lot more than foreign imports when clubs now Premier League clubs are interested - would we have taken the punt on Lambert had we been in the Premier League? Even if we did Rovers would have been looking for more than £1 million I reckon. If a Premier League club wanted Murray now, I'm sure Holloway would be looking for silly money for a goalscorer. Danny Graham has done OK in the Premier League for instance, but £3.5 million was a lot to pay for a player unproven at this level. Then we look at the likes of Liverpool's recent signings, Carroll and Henderson. Silly money. -
Games we should win (playing as we are and pending no injuries): QPR, West Ham, Norwich, West Brom, Stoke Games we could win: Newcastle, Swansea, Sunderland Games where points would be a bonus: Liverpool, Chelsea, Tottenham. All IMO of course - Possibly 18 points from that lot if we continue to play teams off the park a la both Manchester games.

It's actually the recent form table which is the most telling - he's predicted 23 points from us when we have 27 but has only predicted one result correctly (ergo 1 point) in eleven games. He thinks we'll struggle, let's keep proving him wrong. Every forum needs an MLG.
-
Let's just concentrate on the relegation issue, the sooner we get to around the 40 point mark, or start increasing the gap from the teams below us at least, the better. 3 points at Newcastle would be massive, especially considering the winnable games against QPR and Norwich are to come. A few doable wins and then we can start looking up the table. For what it's worth, I'd still take 17th if offered.

What a surprise, Lawro tipping us to lose 2-0.

August 15th, he'll be doing Rosetta Stone on the beach in Hawaii in the summer, but Nigel Adkins will have tampered with the disc and he'll come out with a scouse accent.

Anyone know what the most expensive Saints team would be in terms of sales for each position? My guess is it would be something like: Flowers, Kenna, Richards, Hall, Bridge, Walcott, Ox-C, Surman?, Bale, Davies, Beattie but I without looking it up I could be wildly wrong...

Johnny Forte, the man that inspired all the promotions. Nah, it has to be Lambert. He's different gravy, and he's managed to adapt to every league on his way up. Quality for 1/50th of the price of Torres. Honourable mentions for Morgan, Lallana and Fonte, all whom have done the same from League One upwards. -
I didn't get it initially, I do now. The Welsh Open snooker one is the best though. Class.

Holloway was having a go a few weeks ago about this. It seems there's a massive loophole that needs to be closed, but IMO it's similar to Darren Ferguson borrowing players off his dad. It's working for Watford, so good for them, but there will be some annoyed fans of other clubs that fail to go up. I had to look this up as Watford fans were talking about getting a fee for Vydra when we were linked with him in January, despite the fact he's only on loan.

Woodlice are footballs for stick insects. Imagine Peter Crouch playing football if the imagery puzzles you.

We can beat 'em, but I'll still be happy with a draw. Entertaining one too - 3-3. Jos to undo all his recent good work with an own goal, but then go up the other end and bang one in from a corner. Rickie with a debatable penalty (the Geordies will kill the ref after the game) and Morgan with a 30 yard screamer.

Me and Mrs SNSUN met 7 years ago today. Can we come to the swingers party too? (If yes, I would like proof Rihanna is going to be there before we arrive...)
-
Boruc is 33 today. Keep up the good work fella, if we'd had (and played) him from the start of the season, we'd be a good few places higher up in the league now.

This. I just decided to go too. Gash.

Pompey players want to do it, they just can't afford to give the shirts away.

Saints risk losing Puncheon - West Ham and Newcastle United circle

Mixed feelings here. He's done brilliantly this season - perhaps our best performer, but if we're looking upwards then I still think we could do better. Sign him up, by all means, and I'd be chuffed, but if we lost him I wouldn't have sleepless nights as he's replaceable, albeit for a bit of bunce. After all he's been through with Cortese, I wonder whether he'd sign a contract should it be offered to him anyway...
