This. Could be all over on Monday, supping some vino at home whilst watching the Leicester/West Ham game, and cheering Leicester on. (Knowing I win £625 for a West Ham win will be small comfort if it happens.)
-
A few games ago, in the "games remaining" thread I think it was, I believe I remarked we could be going up but on goal difference. I still think that could be the case, but despite our patchy form I think we have it in our tank to defeat a deflated Coventry side, at home, and with a carnival atmosphere from the fans behind us. Anywho, Leicester will be no pushovers, despite the fact they have nothing to play for - I'm hoping for a boring 0-0 in that game, but I've backed West Ham for the consolation money anyway.
-
Nah I have covered my bases but I get your point. I'm behind Leicester all the way on Monday - money is fleeting. (Plus I've won quite a bit more than I've lost this season anyway...)

£250 gets me £625. That'll pay the last installments for my wedding in June. Done.

Might want Birmingham/Reading for the party atmosphere.

The most money I can afford to lose in my life is about £1000. Putting that on a West Ham win gets me £2500. West Ham failing to win loses me £1000 but guarantees we're back in the big time. It's a fricking massive decision to make - I'm sorely tempted. Perhaps not a grand, but an amount that would make it worthwhile. 6/4 on Ladbrokes. If ever there was a game to bet on as it's seemingly no lose for us, it's Monday night's game...

God knows what our odds were on blowing promotion before tonight's game, 5 points clear and with a better goal difference. Even a draw would have been a good result. I'm going to be ****ting my pants over the next week. Leicester - you get us up and I'll genuinely have you down as my third team.

Come on Saints!

I'd say it will ruin his career, but even if he serves the maximum time he'll only be 28 when he gets out, and as we've seen from Lee Hughes his career can be salvaged. It's Sheffield United he's truly screwed over.

Pringles. Delicious crisps and useful anal dildo container all in one.

Anton (and his brother Denis) were in my year at school, and both are very nice, decent people. It's ben said however that their father has links to the Russian mafia. http://www.rumafia.com/person.php?id=204 I doubt it would affect Anton's chances of taking the club over though. Reading could be going places. Let's hope we remain the biggest club in the south of England. :-)

At home, 2 hours after the final whistle.

Good organisation. In the likely event Saints end up in the play-offs, we'll be regretting not having the same planning foresight as West Ham.

You're not wrong... I had to do the same thing with the Reading match, and sped it up x2 whilst singing the Benny Hill theme tune, to keep things interesting!

Saints / Reading / West Ham run in: Games to go . . .
SNSUN replied to .comsaint's topic in The Saints
Win tomorrow for us and we can laugh all the way through that game, while still routing for Leicester out of spite. :-D -
I'm working as per, so I can't even watch this on the TV. I'll be Sky+ing it, ready to watch when I get home, and hoping no c*nt at work tells me the score!
-
So if I lay on £50 million of my childrens inheritance, I get £1million profit when we get promoted? That's sums I like.

I believe the team that is most likely to win the league before kick off get the proper trophy, and the other side use a replica. I may be wrong though. I assume this means Reading will see the real trophy before us. (We'll see it the following day, after it's been shipped to SMS to the winners of the league... :-))

We need to strengthen more than 3 positions IMO, but the main positions are right midfield, central midfield and centre back. CB: Curtis Davies is the obvious choice, but I have an inkling that Birmingham will win the play-offs. If they do, then I'd rape West Ham of Tomkins. CM: Eek, umm, well Whittingham has been consistantly good for Cardiff, and score a fair few too, so him. RM: I see Adomah isn't even getting in the BC starting team at the moment, so Matt Phillips please. I'd say Chris Burke (one of the best players in the nPC) but I'm ignoring Brum, for the reasons stated above. God this is tough. So many good players. It depends on who we'd want to annoy. I'd love to sign a player from Brighton and West Ham, just to annoy them.
-
At the moment we are, depends on our result against Boro. I'd love us to beat Boro and go into the last game with a shot at the title though. We'll be wishing Birmingham all the best!

If we win this and we're 100% up, do we play the youth in the last game?

I'll download it when we're 100% up and celebrating like Reading!
