Temperament: Thought he was too big for us after his spell at Millwall. Don't let the door hit you in the gigantic arse as you leave Jason. Talent. I doubt he's Premiership quality, even in League One he drifted in and out of form. Tries too many wayward shots on goal. I saw him play for us at home to Huddersfield last season and he was very good - but seen very little of him since. He's your problem now, let's see if Holloway can get the best out of him.

FM stats are shyte, so he must be shyte. Lolz Our squad was good enough for promotion before we signed N'Guessan. Signing these two makes us complete to compete in League One. Looking forward to seeing N'Guessan and Forte play. Forte and Fonte, how ever will we tell them apart... Well happy.

Bart's distribution was poor yesterday. He's a good keeper but I'd choose Davis.

We will lose, it will be good for us in the long run but I don't want us to. I will be Effing ecstatic if we win. I will dance in the streets in my Saints dressing gown. (and little else) Sod it, we can go out in the next round, none of us would surely be gutted if we win today. Ultimately, it's moot. See my first 3 words.

Irrespective of their score and position today, I'm finding it hard to get worried about Oldham...

I can't wait for the ITV coverage of the Game.

I'm looking forward to mid-game adverts for Skodas, Lynx and Tampax. -
Doing shots of Sambuca during the game. One shot for each goal. I hope I don't know what the final score will be. Just as well as i'll be doing it with a taunting Manc fan.

Beijing to Southampton Airport would solve about 70% of their supporters travelling needs.

Will be watching this at home after a mad dash home from work. My Man Utd supporting mate will be joining me, he keeps saying he's dead excited to see Oxo play to see what he's like "in case we sign him". Cockle. This will be a strange one off day, defeat is inevitable yet none of us really care - if anything, defeat is the best thing for us. I'd still like to see a committed performance from Saints though, with Rickie banging in a consolation or two. I can see tactical wizard Adkins putting out a 4-5-1 for this game, similar to the away formation of last season with the two wingers becoming forwards when (if!) on the counter attack. Who knows, depends who's available to play I guess. Butterfield in midfield? (It's a good job I'm not the manager tbf...) Whatever happens tonight I'll be getting drunk - celebration or commiseration, we shall see.

Unless he knows something we don't and is anticipating an almighty balls up by Brighton in the last few months of the season...

Or one Ricardo Fuller...

Got Pulis lined up as an automatic replacement. I'm looking forward to seeing him in action. Sons of footballers families are always good quality...

He'll get his chance in the Premier League, in 2014.

Leeds signed Max Gradel mid season last season and helped them to promotion, hope this lad has the same effect for us.

Saints might be the biggest club, but do Pompey have the best fans?
SNSUN replied to dune's topic in The Muppet Show
Couldn't give two stuffs about Pompey's support, but thinking about our support at Wembley last season always makes me proud. A lovely sea of red and white. -
606 is toss anyway. (it's where I met my fiancee for my sins...)

Not entirely fussed. I still think we're a winger light (unless Puncheon gets his act together), and perhaps a goal scoring striker short, but the team we have should be strong enough to go up. Then there's the loan window, which may be a better route to go down - getting someone class in without the hassle of a fee, and it they shine, sign them up in the summer. Either way, there's still a week to go yet, and that's when things usually hot up.

I have my lucky MLT Corinthian figurine that I take to all the games, which is half a good luck charm and half a nervous twitch. (True) I also crack one out at Winchester services on my way to Southampton. (Not true)

A team of players produced by our academy in the last ten years.
SNSUN replied to norwaysaint's topic in The Saints
I mis-read the OP, but I meant that we signed him young. TBF he wasn't ready for first team action when we got him, but we didn't have much choice in that relegation season. Who signed Morgan anyway? Poortvliet? -

Same principal for Morgan... -

The more I think about this, the sadder I become that we lost so many talented youngsters. I guess the team would look something like: Blayney, Baird, Crainie, Mills, Bridge, Walcott, DMG, Surman, Bale, Blackstock, Best. But it's a toughie. -
Post 16 beat you to it. :-) I'm suprised the Dell even bothered having throw ins, the fans were so close to the pitch they could've just headed it back into play. I reckon the Dell became our fortress because the opposition could smell the fans' farts.

The only thing I'm hoping for is a spirited performance and perhaps a consolation goal or three. Hence why my prediction league prediction is 6-3 to United. Can't remember why I chose that score though... My biggest worry positionally is who partners Fonte at CB. Jaidi has the Premiership experience but is slow, Seaborne is the lower league player, and Martin the youngster. I get the feeling Adkins will play Jaidi but I'd give MArtin a bash, see how he fairs.
