Deano. As peed off as we all were about his transfer to Spurs, I don't blame him. I was more annoyed at Hoddle who buggered off and then signed him. Claus had his knockers in our relegation season, but as many people have said before, he was never the dominant centre-back. A good 10 years service, but Richards was better.

well my girlfriend's birthday is the start of january so really the christmas spending doesn't stop with christmas. I will be spending less this year than last year but only because i've rented a house, not because of the credit crunch!

When do you think the best time is to put them up? Should they have gone up already? This is the first year I have had my own home, and me and the missus are putting them up next Thursday the 11th as part of a "get ****ed at home while doing it" evening. Is this too early, too late or spot on IYO?

In fairness I could sell tickets for people to come and look at my Christmas decorations at home and they'd go away more satified than the one in the New Forest! I'd even throw in a free mince pie. (Because I hate them.)
