  1. ruled out goal for off side when it was him coming back from an offside position. Think it a tad harsh.
  2. I think we all knew/presumed/hoped that this was never going to be about RK but more about FdB
  3. Chelsea were going to sell Courtois for £50-65m (apparently)!!!!!!!!!!!!! And presumably thought that they could get FF on the "cheap".
  4. I look at Shlong. He has come on a fair bit this season. He says it is down to learning from RK. I see JWP's style as having changed as well. More bite to his game, and I put that down to RK as well and I think that he has the best temperament to learn from others.
  5. Bit of pragmatism is needed. 1) He's not going to be with us forever. 2) if you take Wenger out of the equation, the average tenure of a PL manager is 1.29 years (Oct 2015 figure) 3) if he did leave (we'll see if he does), then as washsaint says, the club will survive. 4) Everton are a bigger club than us, albeit not in such a nice part of the country 5) I am much more excited/interested in Forster extending his contract
  6. Ah but Forster had Les doing it, JWP had Ron. Panic. Meltdown. Ron's off. But damn good news about FF.
  7. I see the defenders slightly differently but that isn't relevant as it is the same result, so in agreement with you that it "absolutely affected their play".
  8. Urrr, before saying that he is off, annoyed, staying, happy, a man of integrity or whatever, why not wait until after the press conference today. I am sure that he will have an opportunity to say something, and I am sure that he will be asked.
  9. I would copy where LCFC put their away fans seeing as they have the same setup. They use the wings rather than behind the goal. Palace cup game was a complete joke.
  10. Can't hear in Kingsland either. But TBH I'd rather look at Kenzie than listen to her.
  11. Doesn't make sense in that the club have been trying to tie RK down, so no need to play hardball as he already has the upper hand. Getting FdB a cracking contract would be more the case. Funny how he resigns from Ajax saying he would like to go to PL like somewhere like Everton and people go with it.
  12. FF and the defenders had no idea that Kane was offside, or rather would have been given offside had he collected the ball, so had to play as if he wasn't. And we all know that he was going towards the ball and ended up letting it run about a yard in front of him which kept the defence/FF where they were.
  13. FDB vs RK. On paper, FDB has won more (4 league titles in Netherlands) but RK knows the league. People come, people go. We have a 5 year plan (apparently) so if he isn't signed up to it, so be it. If he does decide to go, good luck to him and I hope he doesn't go the way of many of our players who think that the grass is greener elsewhere.
  14. Of course it is worth discussing, but it is always the same poster who posts with an almost gleeful relish all the negative stories about the club. To me at least, it gets ****ing boring, hence why he is temporarily on ignore. He may well stay like that until the close of the transfer window in September. Heard on the radio that Arsene is going to get a 2 year extension.
  15. Doesn't make a huge amount of sense for him to go there. He might get paid more, but if he wants to take over at a properly big club, then the damage that he can do to his reputation at Everton is rather a lot more than what he is doing at Saints. Of course if he went there, he might do rather well, but the risk......
  16. One might hope that RK clears this up tomorrow either by saying he doesn't know anything about the "rumours" and is staying at Saints, or that he is interested in the Everton job.
  17. Ah, that's better. None of this negative bôllocks that constantly spews forth.
  18. **** me!! Looked at who was in their midfield from the PL... Cabaye (Palace) Kante (Leicester) Sissoko (Newcastle) Sissoko FFS (although I know he is more attacking than defensive)!! Shows how far Morgan has fallen.
  19. Not sure I have "supported" so many different teams in a week (inc. Stoke and Bournemouth on Sunday)!!!
  20. Poopey/Plymouth is a bit tasty at the moment after 12 mins. 1-1
  21. Really, I have little sympathy. Maybe that is the attitude of a jilted lover, but he made his choices and he has been diabolical in some games this season, not least the last one vs Wet Spam. But. It does get me thinking - is there really a difference playing for MUFC than SFC? You hear "expectation" being pulled out a lot. Well **** me, if that means they weren't giving 100% at SFC (as we have the same expectation of winning every match) then **** them. The pressure is different because of the expectation - is that really the case? You might have 75k booing you rather than 30k sighing and muttering under their breath.
  22. They seem to have rather a high opinion of themselves. Fast replacing Liverpool as the most arrogant lot around. Would be very funny if Payet legged it somewhere.
  23. Disagree whole heartedly about Kane's influence on the goal. To me at least, you could see Kane running across the back line, did a little hesitation as the ball passed a yard in front of him, and it was only when the ball passed in front of him that FF moved off of his line. He was sticking to his line to deal with the threat that Kane was potentially giving. The silly thing about this though is how it is a grey area. Fortunately it is a little academic.
  24. I'm OK with that. It's in our hands to finish above them. So be it. Obv not as good as a Chelsea win, but at the start of the game, would have settled for a draw.
