I know that the table doesn't lie, and admittedly I haven't watched a lot of either throughout the season, but what I have seen, Spurs are a much better side than Leicester.
-
If you were Barca and wanted to employ a manager from PL, wouldn't you take MP over RK? There may be a connection between RK and Barca but MP is the better manager.

Spot on decision IMO.

Nah, we're a bit too leaky with not enough clean sheets. (Seriously though...I'm going for Garmin as well).
-
Damn - I've renewed my ST already. How am I going to survive this meltdown and inevitable relegation next season????

As Reddslo states below. Wasn't Ralph only going to initially be here for a year or two? Would I be right in saying that his main priority seems to be the expansion of SFC into USA?

Agree...it's all part of the pantomime that is football.

Saints announce partnership with Under Armour
angelman replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
I still think, as mentioned on an earlier thread, that it will be Garmin. Absolutely no reason to think like that except for them having been named official fitness partner almost straight after Veho were named official club sponsor. Seems that a lot of these companies are moving into personal fitness devices so that would meet your criteria. http://www.garmin.com/en-GB/explore/intosports -
Saints announce partnership with Under Armour

The Southampton Way. On the face of it, I have always found the glitz surrounding it (or attempts at glitzing it up) a little naff and never really understood what the Southampton Way actually meant. Still don't really save for I guess Ralph knows what he is doing and the glitzyness appeals to a certain audience and is a way of selling the club. -
Oh bore off. It is a bit of harmless banter. I doubt many really give 2 hoots, but it's always good to have a pantomime villain. If you don't like it, take your own advice and move on to some other topic that interests/amuses you.

That 3rd goal by Reus reminded me of JRod

Can you imagine being the camerman being tasked with filming him all game? Guess you would have had the pleasure to have caught his orgasm with their goal.

Me and my 9yo lad are getting really ****ing bored of the cameras always panning on to Klopp to see what he is doing.

How much was the deal with addidas? -
Are Everton at risk of losing their squad? Lukaku, Baines, Stones, Barkley, Coleman, McCarthy (?),.... They'd get plenty of money.
-
Crooks is a little too simplistic and that anyone who scores a goal automatically has a chance of getting in. 8 of the 10 outfield players were on the score sheet.

http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/7062604/Southampton-3-Newcastle-1-Hapless-Toon-surrender-as-Rafa-Benitez-continues-search-for-his-first-win.html The Sun's highlights show at 1 min 8 seconds that it was a clear foul and Darlow could well have been sent off. Maybe should have been sent off. Poor decision to give just a throw in.

I'm going for the full 15.

Oh come on. Football supporters are generally either optimistic pessimists or pessimistic optimists. Realists are few and far between.
-
I'd have to agree with you. Sunderland and Villa were both quite a lot better. I feel sorry for the Toon having to travel 350 miles to watch that ****e.
-
Interestingly though, I have seen a different approach to his play recently. Much more bite to it.

I love the revisionism going on on this thread.

I know where you are coming from. I don't quite have that argument about affording it as I am fortunate to be able to. My argument is whether I still love football enough to buy one. This new TV deal and all the pundits saying people are going to be spending big and bringing in top players, with top managers, etc is something I am not sure that I like. But anyway I am likely to renew. I have even booked a function on 11th/12th November as England have a WC qualifier on 11th (against Scotland) so I won't miss a league game!!!!! Is that a bit sad?
