Not that I know but I wonder if we did pay that much in the end? A lot of these deals are based on games played, achievement, etc. etc. He hardly played for us and achieved square root of FA. Possibly why we loaned him to "small" side - he does not earn his extra payment, and we get some - however small contribution to his wages. No doubt we make a loss on him but maybe not the full £20M and 3 years (or however long his contract is) of wages.

https://www.scotsman.com/sport/football/celtic/celtic-paying-fraser-forster-a-massive-40k-a-week-claims-ex-star-1-5088785 Not sure how accurate this site is but suggest Celtic are paying £40K per week - 50%?

Nobel conning Moss there

He most certainly is not - was a great player and achieved far more than most. He is a pundit on a footy show - what do you expect him to say? Partly I agree with him, and indeed most football fans are hard to please - I'm sure there will be some Bindipper fans unhappy at some of their players even with their (begrudgingly) amazing season. Why is it ok for us to criticise other managers/teams/fans and them not us - although I don't think this was criticism, more an observation that overall with our resources/players/budget we are doing well, and at home our fans should support us more - RH and board have said it in more stronger terms. Truth hurts sometimes. I am not happy with our home form, but glad we are where we are overall - why we can't do better at home is a complex issue, but one where the fans might be a part of that?

Was only watching a stream - a decent one though, but Obi looked really odd - it was like an electric motor revving up before letting go. He seemed to almost put himself in "first gear" before going full throttle on the accelerator. He is still very young, experienced and lacks composure but hopefully will improve going forward. I can see why RH picks Long ahead of him for now.

Agree they had good games, but my MOTM was JWP by a mile - had Grilish in his pocket and had several other great moments. Think we are safe now (surely we can get another 6 points from 11 games?), however the problems for next season are clear - we need to be more clinical upfront (who scores when Ings doesn't - today was fortunate), and our defence is still poor. Will our owner sanction the funds to fix this? Not sure he will
-
Young and inexperienced might be a better description?
-
we are starting to tire and fall back, handing the initiative to them
-
we are going to regret not being more clinical when we are so much on top
-
Bit harsh imho. Would rather have brought him on for the last 15 to 20 mins than Che and Obi. Yes he's not the most sophisticated type, but he has an eye for a goal and worth having as a sub (certainly not suggesting he would start)

Nothing that drastic - we just need to get that white witch to renew her spell. Worked before (was it Hoddle?) so why not now? And, yes we were sh*te and deserved to lose. Sure poor Ref and should have had the pen (not a question of how far the arm was, simple fact is the ball hitting arm prevented a goal scoring opportunity = pen), but it would not have made any difference. Hope the complacent board are happy now?

Says it all - making Burnley thuds look good!
-
Get more attacking players on Ralph - what are you waiting for? Burnley to score again?
-
If there's a serious injury, this Ref needs to be held accountable - letting too much go and encouraging the Thugs!
-
ref's union defending their own again! This Ref is simply shocking
-
That had nothing to do with the wind - Ings got out of the way - it would have hit him if he did not move. Then McCarty is behind the line - on the line and he might save it. Dumb and Dumber! Only thing I can think is Mac told Ings to leave it??
-
Not if Swan Vesta is still on second half - as lightweight as a match - see what I did there
-
get Swan Vesta off now before he costs us another goal - halftime might be too late!
-
that is shocking by Ref - Cork trying to take JWP out esp. after his injury - he was being targeted
-
will be subbed at half time, if he lasts that long!
-
Ref is a complete toss
-
Err we do not have a trading loss - we have made a profit the last two years at least. Whether we choose to use that money on players is a different matter, but we are not making a loss.
-
Sums up the media as well - cheating diving basta*d, asking for opposition play to be booked get MOTM!
-
The VAR team is still partying in Liverpool - Bindippers thanks for the weekend help!

Certainly not good, but watching on BT Sport it seemed to be a kick to the knee - no? Even tatters seemed to think it was a good whack to the knee cap. Just hope it's not too serious
