He absolutely needs to walk - we might have a sh*te squad and back office staff, but any manager that does not know his best 11 and tactics by this stage of the season, has no place in the PL - simple!
-
Err, what's stupid about someone who does not give diddly about football getting a massive profit from a less than savvy investor in the PL - seems to me, she played a blinder! Problem is it doesn't suit our agenda, but then when did the fans ever matter?
-
Agreed. Also we (as in master chief in charge, Ralph - as he widely lauded at the time) effed him out on loan in favor of the new messiah (Val) and would have sold him at a loss if there were any offers. He then comes back without any ego, works hard in preseason, and gets back in the camp, only to be f'ed around in different positions (and alluded to pulling a sicky in the Spuds game). Today by all accounts, he was ****ed off at being excuse for our performance when being played out of position with no cover. If that was me I would have punched Ralph and left for good!

For me time to be positive and decisive, and stick to a regular team: Big Mac Ced Stephens Danso Bertie Reddy PEW Ori Jenny Ings Adams We're not going to survive by being cautious, so sh*t or bust. Any player that lacks effort or sulks (Bertie) is off straight away and replaced by a wiling young un

Don't want to hear any apologies from the club, specially the players - just try harder on the pitch, or p*ss off! Ralph needs to go now - completely clueless - worse than MP2 and MH. 10 in defense does work, oh so lets do 10 in attack. Pity is that all these anchors will move on, and the fans will be left with the aftermath.

Think if you remove Ralph's rubber face, you'll find Redcrapp underneath

What is your beef with him BTW - honest question? I found that really uplifting. You have to remember he was an "average working guy", who made it in the lower leagues in football earning probably a ton of money in relative terms, then gets his break with us/PL/England/Bin Dippers and probably for him (and most of us) obscene money. Who wouldn't act like a kid in a sweet shop? The pair of them (Le God as well) seemed really emotional about their England debut. Real Roy of the Rovers stuff - I am genuinely delighted (and truth be told a bit jealous) for him. After all it's not like either of them are acting like Billy Big Boots in public! Just imagine the pair of the in the present side :-) Oh and loved the Gully side story!

White Witch spell has run out and we need her to recast her spell - as she did when we first moved to St. Mary's :-) Why not, we've tried everything else - except of course buying decent players!
-
That's a fair point - I think a 1 or 2 nil defeat would have been excused, but not this. Do have to say that whilst most of the players were utter rank, Ralph has to take a lot of blame too - why have 7 defenders in a home game? Why drop Ings who was possibly the only player who could hold his head up. Why stay with 5 at the back at 5-0 down? Could go on, but lacking the will. Two days on and the pain is getting worse - normally at this stage I would have got over it!
-
More meaningless verbal diarrhea - where is the actual action? Why wait until Jan - you can hire a new DOF, and assistant now. You can drop Gunn, PEH, JWP, Val etc. etc, now.
-
Got sent a photo - very sad but funny. Don't know how to upload on here - any suggestions? Not online so cannot link

All for people protesting peacefully - but why the need to abuse? I'm sure you're perfect yourself of course.

Weren't rubbish last year (not great but much better than now) - so what or rather who cannot motivate them now? Sorry but Alpine Klopp has been found out - only has one tactic that he no longer uses in earnest or with the right players, and opposition have sussed us out. Players easily good enough to keep us up if motivated and used correctly (Gunn, JWP selcted again?? Danso never played in correct position etc. etc.). Man's a fraud - once again we went for the cheap, out of work option - wasn't out of work without a reason.
-
what's with the Bin dippers love fest on Sky??
-
Was Van Dic.k head such a "See You Next Tuesday" when he played for us? Honestly can't remember but believe he's learnt a few more tricks from his current pals!
-
What you do is pick your best 11(in the manager's view) and stick with them to show some loyalty, consistency, belief and togetherness - not f.ing change every game! You have the players you have *****il Jan at least) - just pick the best 11 and encourage them. Totally down to Ralph if he is unable to do that - crap as the players we have, how can he not identify the best 11 crap??
-
Personally think JWP is ok - not great but ok. Trouble is can we afford to upgrade him? Very much doubt we can/will spend 30 to 40M which is what it will take and even then it's a risk. Ralph clearly does not want any one older than 24 at most, so that limits the options, and as far as I can see there is no one emerging from the youngsters (Slattery?? seems Ralph has gone off him). Sad reality of poor/average kids playing in a rich man's play ground I guess.

He seems a different man since he lost his #2

Klopp HT roasting has turned Liverpool around, whilst Ralph roasting has turned us into a Sunday League team. Come on Saints play like the first half again

This all day long for me. Like you say you can get unlucky, but would have been great for the team to "say" tough luck, but let's try and put it right! Similarly in the Liverpool game it was said that the Norwich captain spend too long with his head in his hands showing disappointment, rather than showing the feck this let's get one back attitude.

If you have mind reading skills, you are truly blessed and wasted on here - predict, win and be happy for once in your life

Never heard of analogy I guess? Point was not the bet - rather Ings was not likely to score https://www.thoughtco.com/what-is-an-analogy-1691878

Cheers Jonnyboy - I'm the said tool, who felt Ings was not yet on form (or at least that was the message most would have taken), and guess what Ralf agreed by taking him off. But hey what do I know?

Bad day at the office - well bad half day (2nd half) at the away office in awful conditions. Better to know our limitations early doors (RH fuming afterwards) and correct. We have tinkered, and arguably improved our squad somewhat over last year, but the reality is we have been dire for at least the last two years, and you cannot fix that over night even without massive spend (which we cannot afford). So all we can realistically hope for is a marginal improvement on last year and three worse teams than us. Why should we expect any more than a slight improvement on last year? It will be a bumpy ride for sure, but I am hopeful we might improve a place or two on last year's finish
