Don't worry - it's always all Ced's fault
-
Bouf for Jenny for me. Jenny's off day today
-
I see the Cedric fans are out in full force again!
-
Not surprising - Ralph said as much in his last two interviews - he believes he has found the form and formation - let's hope so

https://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/18082758.southampton-boss-ralph-hasenhuttl-found-good-answers/ Injuries aside, we will go same side as Wed - according to Ralph

Agreed. If you watched Ralph interview immediately after the game - he explained his tactics and subs, and all made sense. Basically with 3 games in a week we could not maintain the intensity (both physical and mental) after 60 mins and coupled with Norwich changing and going for it (nothing to lose) he had to change it to give us more protection. Most players showed an improvement over recent games - some more than others. Don't get the negativity and intense slagging of certain players - can't expect every player to have a blinder each game even for the top sides. Cedric was average - not sh1t. Mistakes happen in a game, particularly when you are in our position at the bottom of the table and crowd on your back if you make one. Given where we were prior to the Arsenal game and our totally shattered confidence, I am amazed how well we have done - it's a slow and nervy recovery but it's a great one all the same

See you next Tuesday! After all his BS about taking his last chance in the Echo prior to the game - not just the goal, he slipped up a few times
-
You need at least one if not two holding (if you like negative) midfielders - JWP is maybe half of one, and Ori should be the full one. Drop PEH - not sure why he is in the team, let alone captain. Maybe that's the issue, who is a suitable / deserved alternative captain? Ings?
-
Agreed. Has an ok game - not great at Arsenal and thinks (publicly) he should be automatic starting section ? Also get the feeling he is not sticking to whatever schedule (health, diet, exercise, etc.) the club have set him. Tough one - image being a PL player, earning thousands a week (ok he might only be on 10K a week, but still a fortune) and having to graft like boll**ks. That's why I always admired the likes of Ronaldo and Becks - they busted their guts in training and personal life even when they were super famous
-
Lost top of one of his middle fingers - lawn mower got stuck, so he turned it over while still switched on and cleared the blockage Hence opposition fans chant of "Charlie, Charlie give us a wave"
-
The White Witch spell has run out - we need her (or someone better) to top it up again!
-
Agree totally. Before the game if you offered a draw I would have been more than delighted. Sure we could and should have won the game, but sh*t happens, and for once it was good to see the opposition panicking at the end. This result is chalk and cheese from the Leicester one, and to turn things around in a short number of games is encouraging. As you say, we just need to reproduce this at home. Just keep a settled side, and Obi is not the answer - I would personally drop him and Redders for Jenny and Bouf, and then keep the same side.
-
nail on the head. We need an experienced leader at the back - plenty are/have been available cheaply or free, but of course we only buy 24 year old's with massive potential, who turn out to be massively cr*p
-
What ever the outcome - it shows there's no justification for 5 at the back again - home or away
-
Get Jenny and Bouf on now. Obi is ****e and Redders has done f'all
-
Agreed Jenny (Djanepo) and Bouf for Redders and Obi at around 60 mins to rip the arse out of Arsenal leaving them with nal
-
Think most will agree our players are average (maybe very average - personally don't think so). The issue for me is a recent one - latter part of last season and this. Ralph was a breath of fresh air when he first arrived and employed his commitment and high press, and kept us up when I thought we would go down. But ever since we were safe last season he (and the bulk of the players) seem to have regressed. He seems to have completely abandoned his tactics (high energy press, quick turn overs, don't give the opposition a moment to settle etc. etc.). Why? Loss of his side kick - maybe? Other teams have figured out our tactics and he has no "famous" plan B? We might want to knock them, but Ings, Redders, Bertie, McCarty, Ori, PEH, and even possibly Yossi and Bednarek have played so much better previously than they are doing so now. Add to that Ced, Jenny (Moussa) and Boufal who are playing well this season, and you have to wonder why the manager cannot get more out of them? One or two bad apples I can accept but that many starts making you thing it's the tradesman blames his tools (and yes most of them are tools!). Add that to why the likes of last seasons sensational discoveries - Valery, Obi, Slattery, etc. have been discretely put back on the long shelf, and you begin to wonder if this is not the messiah after all? He had the same players last season - minus the ones he shifted out this, and the new additions and we are massively worse. Add to all this, the truly bizarre decisions of selecting players completely out of position - Moussa at RWB (not once but twice - complete disaster), Ced at RB/RWB, Danso at every position except the one we loaned him for. Players might be utter sh1te but is Ralph inspiring any confidence either?
-
Don't know why but the saying "One eyed king in the land of the blind!" seems to pop in to mind
-
Naw, he's just not very good. Being fast doesn't mean you are automatically good. Has potential but not the finished item we need now.
-
Oh ok, that explains why he picks Armstrong at RB, Ced at LB, JWP at all, most of the season Gunn instead of Big Mac, Jenny at RWB, etc, etc. Silly me, I thought it was the manager's job to get the best out of players available?
-
You might laugh, but just back from Canada and they are not allowed to call the native Indians, Indians - instead referred to as "First Nation Citizens". Honestly, the world's gone daft, and I am Indian (as in have Asian Indian origins). Irony of ironies in Ireland I am "English scum" in the nicest possible way of course!
-
Behave - the club have absolutely shafted him and than more. He is played in the wrong position and blamed for the display. But hey carry on and find a convenient scape goat, instead of focusing on the real issue.
