  1. Yes, Watkins’s ball.
  2. A clean sheet and a nice comfortable professional 2-0 win. It’s not often that we see that at home and my only tinge of sadness is that I couldn’t be there to see it. i shall have to console myself with my £69 refund and a celebratory beer this evening.
  3. If they’re going to take up to five weeks for each refund then it’s going to get very messy as the season progresses and they have several matches to refund.
  4. Nothing on my card yet but they still have a couple of days left. So when they say '14 days' it appears that they actually mean 'after 14 days'.
  5. Many will be familiar with the story of the Titanic and of the most senior surviving officer Charles Lightoller. He served with distinction in the First World War and later in World War 2 took his own motor yacht ‘Sundowner’ to Dunkirk and brought back 127 service em. He lived at Netley Abbey. His yacht Sundowner is preserved in Ramsgate Maritime Museum. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_Lightoller
  6. As well as being a red card
  7. I wonder how the ‘pro-rata’ amount will be calculated bearing in mind that I paid for my tickets partly with the credit for the closed-stadium games at the end of last season. I would expect that it would be based on the full nominal price of the ticket and not the net price. Time will tell.
  8. Yes, thanks. Some organisations use the two terms interchangeably. I could certainly do with having the money in my grubby hands. I did notice that the wording is very careful to state that this will apply to games ‘without fans’.
  9. Ok, thanks. Presumably that would be a credit card account for those of u that paid that way.
  10. “Refunded to your account” I think you’ll find that means your Saints account and not your bank or credit card.
  11. It’s a credit and not a refund. Sorry “With the home game against Spurs on Sunday 20th September confirmed as being behind closed doors, and as outlined as part of the Saints Promise, the pro-rata amount of your Season Ticket price will be automatically refunded directly to your account within 14 working days.“
  12. His positioning for the goals was poor. Started to come for the ball, changed his mind, rushed back in goal and then wasn’t set for the inevitable shot. There again, our high line left acres of space in front of him
  13. In perpetuity more like. And I would call it a police state rather than insult any grannies And I’m married to one so I should know.
  14. Trying to play out from the back. It gives them too much to think about, poor dears.
  15. We’re breeding useless
  16. One crumb of comfort for me. Having paid for two season tickets and being prevented from attending this game I assume that I will get a refund for it. Could this be the first time that I get my money back after watching a crap performance?

  18. Romeu was booked in the first few minutes and I’m sure that had an effect on his game.
  19. Because this is not a normal season and these are different circumstances. Attendance will be severely restricted and if you are unable to attend any given match(es) you could release your ‘seat’ for someone else to enjoy. Besides, we were told that we would be able to opt out and get appropriate refunds.
  20. Those of us who wear glasses may have some reason for optimism. Just search for, wearing glasses may curb infection
  21. I’ve had ours. I’ll have a go when I’m more awake. It does appear to say that once you’ve opted in you can’t opt out again and expect any refunds.
  22. So you think that these restrictions are responsible for the low hospital admissions and deaths do you? How does that apply to Sweden?
  23. I got shouted at for walking in the road on the way back to my house. Something about a footpath but that is the other side of a thick hedge and you can’t get access to it from the direction that I came.
  24. It was all going so well until yesterday. I can get to the home page quickly but once I click on ‘unread posts’ it’s time to go away and start reading War and Peace.
