Deadline of 1st (2nd?) September?
-
I accept and understand that the club can only operate within official guidelines, I’m just saying that I don’t want to operate that way. In my view the country is still running scared and cowering behind its front doors. Medically there is not a problem and the pandemic is over but we still have the panicdemic. I don’t have any mates nor do I need them. I go to games with my grandson. We are not a threat to anybody and nobody is a threat to us.
-
Well that’s a waste of time then. What’s the point? The sooner we just open up the world again the better. Let’s all get on with our lives.
-
So what’s changed? I’ve never know it to be this quick.
-
Billy Sharp too and have we forgotten Højbjerg?
-
I tend to find that if I ask for ‘unread content’ then I get a hang up but if I go into the home page and follow through from there I have more success. Is this perhaps the cause of the search problems that Steve mentions?
-
That’s less likely now that Højbjerg’s left.
-
“rate of increase” ? That’s a second differential and should be treated with caution. The more testing you do the more cases you will find.

Club website and keeping the fans updated

I got that too. They seemed more interested in women’s football than anything else. -

If we could beat Liverpool at Anfield to win the title I would love it. Love it

Mere whippersnappers. My programming started in 1966 programming in BASIC on an ICL machine that Enfield Technical College let us use at lunchtimes. Then on to FORTRAN on an IBM 1130 at our university engineering labs. Then an Elliott 803 in the early 70s which was obsolete even then with five-hole punched tape and a loudspeaker on the main data bus making noises so beloved of the entertainment media of the time. We too used punched Hollerith cards but we had to punch the holes ourselves using a hand punch. My next love was a Honeywell 516 which we used for the first live Teletext transmissions. That had a ten-stack interchangeable disk holding about 36Mbytes. Computers are like boats. The bigger and faster the machine the less fun you have.

It’s rubbish at the moment for me too. There’s a couple of issues that I’d like to draw to Steve’s attention. The response is slowest when I ask for unread posts. Just getting to this stage is tricky. On my iPad I have to turn the screen to landscape or the two options for ‘unread posts’ and ‘mark forum read’ do not appear near the top right of the screen. On my Android phone I have to request ‘desktop site’ before I see these two options and then I switch back to mobile site in order to read the posts. Still no indicator of the Number of the post.

Yes, it’s all a load of nonsense for no good reason. They can’t even enforce a one way system for the toilets so there’s no chance of doing it on the concourse.

Especially the ones in front of you riding bikes. -

I went for a grandfather with a mass of white hair. It’s what my grandchildren call me to distinguish me from their other grandad. -
Always provided that he achieves greatness with Saints.

When I renewed my two tickets I was emailed this link, if it's any use. https://r1.surveysandforms.com/e92hkl29-214qrubc

Yes, but I remember them as PEZ sweets.

They don't actually live in Monaco. They live in France and pretend that they lo e in Monaco. They go to all sorts of lengths to make it look as though they do, automatic light switches and suchlike

Trains? Eurotunnel? Ferries? It’s a very big world out there. Holiday companies are just a small part of it.

You cannot have been unaware of the many millions who are struggling to get any sort of refund instead of a credit note? ’more fool them’ applies more to those who voted in this load of incompetents as a government. They are the ones who are running around like headless flies with no clues and no strategy.
-
For many, if not most, cancellation with a refund was not an option. Why is this so hard to understand?
-
There’s a case for it in European matches as a means of settling the tie without further debate. Much better that the toss of a coin.

Something not quite right here. ”The impression we got” followed by “we had been led to believe something else”
