  1. He will be. It's a bit like living together before getting married, not that I've ever done anything like that.
  2. If you're interested, R. J. 3. Yes, 28-31 August, the Vulcan is due to fly today. I presume that the BOB will be based ther this week. The Spitfire and Hurricane that we saw last Saturday weren't just doing a flyover, they were doing a few circuits and swoops over the docks area, maybe there was a special event on there. I didn't see the Lancaster though.
  4. You can't pander to self-centred primadonnas.
  5. Far too subtle for most. Either that, or very stupid. I'll err on the side of caution and go for the latter.
  6. I'll do it for you. Just send me your bank details...

  10. Doing his best not to attract any interest.
  11. Could be anybody- might even be me.
  12. Did anybody else see the Spitfire and Hurricane over town last Saturday? We were walking over the Northam bridge at the time. I presume they were on their way to Bournemouth.
  13. How does that compare with Lallana, particularly as a percentage of games started?
  14. Week commencing 22nd September.
  15. I thought you said it was unseeded? All the top teams have home draws!
  16. We have nothing to fear: they, however, must be quaking in their boots
  17. In the next few minutes on Sky Sports 1 I don't know of other channels.
  18. It was a fair question, fairly answered.
  19. I think David Howells still lives in Hedge End.
  20. Nice, I like it Definitely deliberate, he made the pass with the inside of his left foot.
  21. If you're going to troll at least try to make it less obvious.
  22. Brills. Ta muchly.
  23. I saw a lot of her at the Kings Theatre, Southsea, a lifetime ago. Can she play centre forward?
  24. 27th August - tomorrow- so after tomorrow night's matches I presume.
  25. Yes, of course you're right, but it depends on the type of footballer and the club they're at. A family man will see life differently from a young lad out on the town occasionally, and most of a footballer's working time is spent at the club's training ground. The Millwall captain, for example, has just moved next to my sister in Broxbourne and a lot of the Tottenham players have traditionally lived near them. And don't underestimate the influence of a player's wife on her husband's decision as to where to get a transfer to, Kelvin Davis was very keen to stay here because his wife liked the area and was settled, or so I hear. I don't suppose young Townsend fits into the family man category but I may do him a disservice.
