  1. Yeah, it rather proves my point.
  2. He would have left whatever transpired.
  3. Fair point.
  4. It's all on the players' heads. They left the pitch with immaculate hairstyles
  5. No problem. Why not blame you iPad, I do
  6. Thanks, already corrected. Bloody Ipad, I swear it changes things after I've submitted the post
  7. Very promising but not fully developed yet, as you would expect. If he were he would already have been sold for £40m.
  8. You're ?
  9. He still has a lot to learn. Despite all his appearances he still gets caught out at times by the speed of the game, he waits for the ball to come to him and then finds it nicked of his feet.
  10. That's the trouble with the youth of today, they want everything and they want it NOW. Which performance are we going to use to predict this season, Anfield or yesterday? It was the same team.
  11. I heard this but without the moaning. There again, those sitting around me never say much anyway.
  12. That's what I thought at first but he carried on mouthing off at the crowd even after the Lino had gone up to the halfway line. He seemed quite upset
  13. He had at least two defenders breathing down his neck all game. Does anybody know why Olsson was having a go at the crowd in the Kingsland in the second half?
  14. Best keeper we've had for some time.
  15. I thought he showed signs of improvement as the game went on. He's obviously going to need time to adapt to this league.
  16. Far too early to draw any conclusions, it was a poor game but it's not the first and it won't be the last but never argue with a clean sheet. It's still August and everybody is still on their holidays. I still think we're a couple of players short of a team. Forster was impeccable and Big Vic was always entertaining, his turn and spin in the second half was a great laugh. My two grandchildren at their first-ever game enjoyed their day out but they've got a lot to learn about watching Saints. After the game the stadium announcer said that if you bought a season ticket they would refund the cost of today's. They should do that for all of us.
  17. . Who's talking about him?
  18. First we have to stop them going in, and we've done that. It's only two games, what's the rush?
  19. Me too. Every holiday/trip is organised around it which is why I get mightily peeved when TV moves the dates.
  20. Is that £16m for the pair of them?
  21. This is a significant occasion for me. Now that my daughter has moved back into the area I have all seven grandchildren living nearby and tomorrow will be the first Saints game for two of them. I'm also taking my eldest grandson who's 11 (I think). Let's hope for a good solid win to set them on their careers. I suspect good old grandad will also be forking out for some shirts and stuff too
  22. Cream 'Live at the Fillmore' double album. 'Nuff said.
  23. Actually the girly with the long hair was called Maria, or the miller's daughter or something. Rumplestiltskin was an ugly little dwarf... ah, I see what you mean.
  24. Thanks, I'm looking forward to watching him tomorrow. A hat trick would be nice.
  25. We're not a mid-table club, we're better than that.
