Exactly right. They will want to gather all the main reporters, not only from this country but also from Switzerland (and possibly elsewhere in Europe) and that is going to take at least 24 hours to organise. My guess is, if there is an agreement today, there will be a statement to the press and LSE by close of business and a press conference called for tomorrow afternoon.

Yes but he's not a new signing, he's a trialist. If he's sh!t, I would hope he would be shipped back on the next Flybe flight, however that is the market we're in, trialists and frees and we might be able to unearth a gem or two along the way (in League 1 terms, anyway).
