The game has moved on too much since those days and the idea that a team like us could accommodate a luxury player like that is ridiculous. Regardless of what talent he might have, I don't see a player like Alli fitting into that, do you? Because if you are then this comes across as just an extension of the old "climate activists who don't live in caves and eat nothing but salad are hypocrites" trope.
