With Fenerbahce. Their total dominance of the Turkish league is akin to Celtic's in Scotland after Rangers imploded. He sounds like a bit of an egomaniac prone to falling out with star players a la Mourinho. But I guess as they don't really have any star players that won't matter. Everton fans not known for intelligence when it comes to graffiti. I remember going to our game there in 04/05 after Rooney had left for Utd, and on a wall near the ground I saw "DIY RONEY SCUM" 😂

The United Kingdom and the Death of Boris Johnson as we know it.

No, he must have been honouring the Black September terrorists because the Daily Mail said so 🙄 Just ignore the fact that the sole reason he was even in Tunis, alongside a Tory peer, was to attend an annual conference dedicated to the victims of the 1985 airstrike. That's just coincidence. -
Ah but the odds don't actually reflect the likelihood of it happening, so I'm told.

I might be wrong here, but I'm pretty sure Chelsea can't sell him to anyone else this window without our agreement to terminate the loan deal early. Whatever happens, he's our player til at least the end of the season. The only way he could leave Chelsea on a permanent deal in this window would be to join us.

Probably not. But then, we wouldn't be in a position to include any kind of buy back clause in the event he turns out to be a 20+ goal a season striker. That kind of agreement will be what might swing it for us.

Shocking Secret Climate Report by The Pentagon

Did your customer actually go into that minute detail or are you just guessing here? Because if you are then this comes across as just an extension of the old "climate activists who don't live in caves and eat nothing but salad are hypocrites" trope. I don't personally care for antique furniture either to be honest. It's great there is a market for it and that well made old stuff can be recycled in this way, but it's not to my taste. I will, however, always look for something suitable second hand before buying any new furniture. And when we decided to get a new dining table when we moved into our current home in 2014, we got one custom made for us by a local joiner from what we were assured was locally sourced, sustainable wood. It's a bit of a stretch (and frankly plain wrong) to say that just because someone doesn't like antiques they can't be eco friendly. -
Ah but how have you calculated that 10% chance eh? Have you taken every possible variable into account and considered every last detail even down to things like wind direction off the solent and its potential to mess up his hair?
-
I'll take that as a "no" then.

Don't you ever get bored of it? Is there honestly never a moment where you stop and think to yourself "Yeah maybe this poster has a point actually" and decide to do something more productive with your time?

Rewind to 2018 and people would have said exactly the same about Ings had it not been announced completely out of the blue. Stranger things have happened.

Only on the condition he sorts out that stupid hairstyle of his. The coloured braids would clash horrifically with our yellow kit!
-
Personally I would be wary of putting such a young player up on a pedestal like that. He could turn out to be something of a wandering star though.

He's very good at selling a dummy, so I gather.

I'm told that due to budget constraints, this is going to be taken out of storage and installed in its place...

This. Quite how it has taken so many people this long to recognise that is beyond me*, because the evidence for it has been there for all to see ever since he first set foot into the public eye. He is, and always has been, a corrupt, entitled charlatan with no discernible talent for anything other than self promotion. It's tragic how many people were insisting in 2019 that Corbyn was "unelectable" and then went and voted for this shameless, incompetent prick instead. For all Corbyn's faults, of which he had/has many, at least he has a moral compass. Johnson has no redeeming qualities whatsoever. None. The last few years have been a very dark chapter in UK politics, and whichever side of the spectrum we sit on, we owe it to ourselves and our future generations to try and somehow work collaboratively to consign it to history and move on. * That's not aimed at you BTW Rallyboy. I'm very sorry for the hardship your family had to endure and it must boil your piss to see now that the man setting those rules was blatantly ignoring them himself. -
15 managers in 10 years. Absolute shambles of a club. How they keep on managing to get themselves promoted is very puzzling.
-
Especially when you consider how long he has been doing it for. You'd think the penny would have dropped by now!
-
Dammit, I was hoping Watford would keep hold of Ranieri at least long enough to sack him after losing to us so we could make it a hattrick for him, but even that was wishful thinking it seems.
-
Exactly. I used to get worse than that regularly on the old concrete playground at school. It was a scrape of the thigh, and it looks painful, but it was purely superficial and there wasn't enough force to cause any serious injury which is why VAR decided it didn't need to be upgraded to a red.
-
In have to hold my hands up and take responsibility for that. Someone posted a rumour that we were looking at another young RB from Aberdeen (I think) and suggested it could be cover for an injured Tino. I merely raised the suggestion that if we are indeed looking for another RB then it would be more likely be to replace KWP who might be looking to move on having lost his place. There was never anything concrete that he definitely was so I'm sorry if that was the impression some got.

The Minsk Memorial Thread (and continuation of his work)

Given we had only 9 fit senior players this time last year when we played that game at OT, I'm pretty confident we won't 😉 -
Bullshit paper talk then. These player swap deals never actually happen in reality.
