At what point does winning every game get tedious?

Thanks mods -
It really is hard because our success has clearly been down to a well-drilled team ethos, rather than any individual brilliance. However, if I had to pick one player who has consistently put in superb performances and been pivotal to our play then I would have to say Wanyama. The protection that he gives to the back four is the biggest single contributor to our defensive record IMO, and his passing has improved massively since last year meaning that we can actually do something positive with the ball once he has won it.

HAHAHAHAHAAAAA!!!! In your face Rodgers!!! -
B*stard. He cost me £85! I had us down for 2-1!
-
How the hell did Wood miss that!? I actually wish he had buried it. I've got a potential £85 riding on 2-1.
-
Two from Long now!
-
Davis injured. Cork coming on.

As well as we are doing this season, we still haven't addressed the problem of the quality of balls into the box that was such a big failing of ours last season. Crossing has been really poor again so far today.
-
I wish Mane wouldn't go over so easily. It's pretty embarrassing.
-
It's fine for me. Try clearing out your cache and refreshing the page.

No they don't. It's only the Tories that are still trying to push that narrative. The vast majority of the voting public are intelligent enough to realise just how untrue it is.
-
Shaw had a decent game today. Put in some important tackles to restrict City to just the one goal.
-
-
The goals from midfield is another key factor in our success. Morgan, Corky and Big Vic have already got 9 goals between them so far, compared to just two all season (both from Schneiderlin) last time round.
-
Not entirely convinced he is an upgrade on Boruc... yet. It's difficult to make any kind of proper judgement when the defenders in front of him are doing such a good job that he hasn't really had a great deal to do for the last few games.
-
True, but the important thing is that we are winning those games, meaning we only need to draw with the top teams in order to maintain our position. Too many times over the last two seasons we stuttered and failed to take maximum points from teams we should have been beating, like Stoke and Sunderland.
-
At the end of the first half I would have agreed with you. But Hull still haven't managed a single decent attempt at goal, and we have had two or three chances to put it to bed. Cork coming on.
-
Ooooh, Mane should have buried that!

Chelsea 1-1 QPR

Mane coming on for Long

What the hell? How did Steve Davis miss that?

A strange half for us. If it weren't for the gift from their keeper and the score was still 0-0 I would be a lot more concerned. We haven't created anything so far, except for the through ball to Long who maybe should have done better (although watching the replay it looked like he got an unfortunate bobble just as he tried to hit it). Hull have got the better of the midfield, but for all their possession in our half we haven't really allowed them a clear sight of goal yet, which is encouraging. I would like to see us push to get another goal to make it more comfortable, but my gut instinct as that it will finish a draw.

Ref isn't giving us anything today. Every time a Hull player pushes one of ours over he just lets it go.
