There was one moment I remember when he did show that pace to get back and snuff out an attack. But yeah he was sloppy in possession a few times and gave the ball away needlessly. Overall he looks like he'll be decent though.

I don't think there's a single person here who isn't delighted that we won, but it's totally fair to also point out the flaws in our performance. It was the first competitive game under a new manager, and there were plenty of learning points to take from it. Wrexham really weren't very good and we made it a lot harder than it should have been with a very ineffective forward line in the first half. One or two players were very poor so it's perfectly reasonable to discuss that while still celebrating the three points.
