  1. I think TDD has just given belief to the theory that Rupert and Milan must have studied the same textbooks on running organisations! Mistake for mistake, they are identical. Milan does at least put money in whereas Lowe,to turn his phrase on it's head has "long fingers and short pockets". Nevertheless, they are both tossers and I still remember Milan's remarks after the Farton debacle in 2005 and they had all the charm and grace of a w@nk stain. No thanks to either of them!
  2. Anyone who does needs their brain examining. Whilst people sound off and swear at games and might get a bit OTT on here occasionally, there is no justification for and a chasm of difference between that and physically assaulting someone you "love". That type of person would simply find something else as an excuse to use their fists and there should be no justifying of links between SFC, actually any football or sporting result, and this issue. I've said before that the violence at the Doncaster game was out of order so domestic violence is 200% worse again.
  3. No Dubai, it was in the Echo at the weekend mate and on the front page. Type it into Google and you'll find it. The Mirror are just going for a cheap filler from a round-up of the local papers in the UK.
  4. Agree and with 70's Mike above as well. Where was the opposition to the so-called "reverse-takeover" in 1996, it was obvious that it wasn't for the club's benefit?
  5. I'd like to make the Lavender Hill lot just "ex-SFC" actually. Lavender is an interesting association as there is nothing fragrant about them either.
  6. +1. Mandaric does have the money to back up his gob unlike Rupert so has more respect for that but Mandaric shares a love of firing managers indiscriminately like Rupert (and bar Harry and Pearson so far has been almost as bad as appointing them - still, at least it's his money and not ours that Milan wastes) and is known to hate Saints and our fans. No thanks to either of them.
  7. No, I agree with you.
  8. That was my understanding as well.
  9. The Echo are desperate to sell papers and advertising, their US owners want the paper to make more money but that's desperately poor journalism even from them! Still, some of them would get a job writing for Saints OS! Seriously though, how can any sport be an excuse for domestic violence and hitting someone you are supposed to love? Whoever wrote this needs their brain replacing and the "Editor" that approved it as well. Then Echo journalists wonder why there is the threat of redundancies?
  10. Rupert Lowe no doubt. Wiseman also signed off Euell's signing which is another piece of evidence against him although the book "Broken Dreams" is Exhibit A. Wotte would no doubt forge Lowe's signature on the certificate as Rupert would be away fishing in Scotland.
  11. If you are going to slag people off on here, at least learn to spell properly first.
  12. I'd thought you'd typed wingers then - trouble is we've loaned him to Swansea haven't we?
  13. Didn't stop people in 1996 (allegedly) did it?
  14. You missed out a bit on your thread title - next to those names it needed to say "need shooting". In fact, I'd write George Bowyer's name on Askham's bullet and I'd add the equally grubby Keith Wiseman (you may have changed sides Keith but we all know what you did) in that group and write Corbett's name on his.
  15. He can resort to electric shock therapy as used in the Clockwork Orange but it won't make any difference. You can't polish a turd which would be a suitable summary of the job him and JP have done and the crap kids we are having to play.
  16. To be fair, that's more Askham's trick than Lowe's. I don't like Lowe at all either but Askham has a track-record in creaming off money out of the club. Considering he's put about 50p in and isn't a fan, isn't it about time a total boycott stopped his gravy train?
  17. It's 4 down in League 1 as well and the club has shown so little fight in the last 5 years I'd have to make us favourites for the drop again. Bolton and Sheffield United have both come back from the old fourth division (and Wolves) to the top flight so it can be done but we really need total regime change at the club if that's going to be possible over the next 10-15 years.
  18. Then people wonder why our home gates our so low! That is a shocking statistic and every bit as bad as Derby's year without a win - at least that was at PL level. As for your final question Sid, I'm asking myself the exact same question as you and I'm coming to the conclusion it just isn't worth it any more. At least I'll be overseas for a good chunk of the last part of the season so there will be no temptation to go to SMS from the other side of the world!
  19. If he is, I'm not. Even I've had enough of his pathetic decisions and I'm one of the silly idiots that's kept going this season.
  20. You'd be down at Fratton as usual wouldn't you Sundance? Bad result for you at Fulham, enjoy your fizzy pop and administration - your debts make ours look puny in comparison. No alternative for SFC from my viewpoint, not even sure I'd bother with football anymore. I'd spend my money on more Barmy Army tours following the England cricket team overseas instead.
  21. Football is a "results business" - where have we heard that before? How many of our so-called "super" young players have performed or been motivated this season? Hmmm, that could be because we've had 2 clowns in charge appointed by Mike Wilde and Rupert Lowe! Who is top of League 1 by quite some distance Sundance, care to remind us? Care to remind us of who they are managed by again? Football is a results business and it's about time Rupert, Mike, Askham, Withers and other hangers on cleared off ASAP on that basis.
  22. Oh I do agree with you Duncan, I just think that Leon needs to be a bit more savvy at times. The Tommac thing worries me a bit as well. I want Lowe and particularly Wilde - the man who brought the Execs in that escalated the mess Lowe left behind first time around - out badly as is evident from my postings but I think we have to be realistic about our expectations with Leon. A more steady hand on the tiller alongside Leon - ie not the same people as last time - would reassure me a bit more. Perhaps this is Salz, who knows.
  23. Great post. I'm not as big a fan of Crouch as yourself Duncan but do recognise that he doesn't have the same boiling point emotions from our fanbase as certain indivduals at the club and remember, Mike Wilde stirred quite a bit of that up. To then get into bed with that person 2 years on let the fans down and the considerable support he had recieved.
