Pictures and video clips of end of season celebrations

Like the way the stewards are joining in -
Actually, further research tells me I'm completely wrong on both accounts there. Neither games mentioned were even sell outs. Apparently our record attendance is 32,151 v Arsenal in 2003.

I doubt it'll beat MK Dons last season in the JPT due to segregation reasons. Also seem to remember our friendly against Bayern Munich a few seasons back (2004?) had a pretty big turn out - I'm sure they sold a few too many tickets for that game - seem to remember a few people standing in the aisles around me.

Huddersfield have already thrown in the towel !!

1,000,000,000-1 at William Hill at the moment. -
I wasn't talking about the standard of play or the money being thrown around. More about the "size" of the club, i.e. fanbases, stadium sizes and facilities etc. I would imagine (I haven't done any research though so am probably wrong), that the gap between the average attendances between the Premier League* and Championship is smaller than the gap between the average attendances between the Championship and League 1. * Ok, maybe excluding Man United, Arsenal, Newcastle etc.

Looking at the teams in the Premiership, Championship and League 1, I've come to the conclusion that the step up between League 1 and The Championship is bigger than the gap between the Championship and Premier League. OK, obviously nowhere near in comparison to the amount of money involved, but what I consider to be big clubs. Perhaps I've just become very accustomed to this league, but looking at our potential fixtures for next season I feel like there's some big teams in there who I could imagine in the top flight (good stadiums/fanbases etc.)...whereas there's very few in league 1. Thoughts?

"In any championship in the world the last two games of the season you play the same time as your opposition. I don’t understand it and that is something the Football League should answer.” Except the The Premiership, Championship, League 1, the Conference, Serie A, the SPL, the Welsh principality league just to name a few in the 5 minutes of research I've sone for this season.

Markus Liebherr Tributes / Walsall Game Tribute
Mr saint replied to saint peach's topic in The Saints
Any idea how many have been sold for this game yet? Bought my tickets yesterday (much earlier than I normally do) and couldn't get 2 tickets together in a lot of places in the ground. -
Ah... the EDL. Everyone's favourite cheeky scamps.

If we win on Saturday: Good for Saints, Bad for Bournemouth

We'd crazy not to at least consider it, surely? -
I bet someone will say Dexter Blackstock.

Where will you sit for the United game?

In my living room because I can't make it to the Carlisle game. -
Saints vs Manchester Utd - 4th Round FA Cup Draw
Mr saint replied to saint_bert's topic in The Saints
Not the draw I wanted. Massive distraction from the league. Oh well, we may as well try and win it anyway. -
I was at the yeovil game. I didn't really have much problem seeing the saints players from the other end of the ground. Having said that I'd much rather we had a yellow and blue kit.

Only "Killers" bits though.

Yep tried that, which reminds me. I also can't delete the history/cookies on here either. I'm on IE, I click the 'safety' drop down box at the top, select 'Delete Browsing History', have all options ticked (i.e. delete history/cookies etc.) but after I've done it the history is still there -if I type an address in the address bar it auto-completes everything and you can still see every page visited. 'Tis odd, and a little annoying.

Soceity needs classes. Would you think better of the Royal Family if they live in a tower block in the East end? Perhaps we should all share our wealth out equally to make a fairer society? I've heard that idea somewhere before... The royals have done so much for this country. Why shouldn't they have a bit of wealth. You seem a bit jealous if you ask me. What a strange strange comment.
-
How much does the Royal Family affect your daily life? I mean really? How anyone can genuinely think the Royal Family isn't good for Britain is beyond me (admittedly like most people I'm not Charles' biggest fan). I bet all the people whinging for no good reason about this wedding are the same ones whinging about Britain losing it's Brittishness. Like it or not, the Royal Family are a global icon symbolising much of what made this country great. Why should having a very likeable prince and princess (future king and queen) be seen as a bad thing? Seems like a bresh of fresh air to me!

Got to admit, I've been disappointed with Nick Holmes since he signed from Derby. Thought he had the potential to be a really good player but it's just a shame injuries have marred his time here.

How cute! They're getting all excited already. Have they got a countdown on their OS with how many sleeps until we visit?
