I'm pretty sure the number 5 seed takes his place (Del Potro) or something like that, although not certain. I don't know who I want to win this year. I want Murray, as a Brit, to win (and this will be his best ever chance probably), but there's something about Federer at Wimbledon that always makes me want to see him win. I used to get really bored of Sampras always winning it in his day, but I don't feel like that about Fed. Anyway Murray - Fed final and I'll be happy whatever the result.

Oooh are we going to invite him down for the first game? If we can't afford a ticket as a club, I'm more than happy to pay for him. He can sit next to me in the Northam.

Bloody 'eck! If this is where we've got to by cheating, I dread to think where we'd be now if we'd played fair.

I've always thought the location of SMS was pretty good. 10-15 minute walk from town and Southampton Central railway station. Links by the M27 and International airport not too far away for when we eventually reach the Champions League.

I went there after Swansea away this season. Just 5 minutes from the Liberty! Best bit of the day IMO. Was something like £5 all you can it - and it wasn't even pure sh!te

Our history is only just beginning. I am confident we will be around for centuries yet. My great grandchildren will refer to these days as the dark ages and I'll be proud to say I was there when we pulled ourselves out of it.

I always wondered what all the fuss was about at Wembely in 2002

Oh right cool, had an old version. Thanks!

I can't do this. Is it the version of Google Earth you have to pay for or something?

The headline of that article on the webpage got me all excited for a second there...

They'd have to close the corners I expect.

What did you want him to do? Sit at home and cry all evening? If you'd told me this on Satuday evening I might have given a ****. It doesn't matter; leave him be.

This is exactly the kind of attitude which has led to some awful managerial choices in recent years. I, probably like most others on here, think MLT is one of Southampton and footballs greats! Having said that, I don't think we need and unproven and unqualified man at the helm who has a reputation for being lazy. Unless of course he has some kind of secret formula to give every player the skills he had - but he doesn't.

I like this thread. If we just pretend nothings happened since the Cardiff match we might just feel more happy all summer. How do people think our match against Exeter will go? Well done for bumping.

Saints 2-2 Burnley Post Match Reaction - Saints Relegated
Mr saint replied to Arizona's topic in The Saints
Literally only about 5 seconds, but it just showed the fans goading the Burnley fans/throwing things and said something like "There were some nasty scenes during the pitch invasion afterwards" -

Thought it was actually a very entertaining game, but the inability to convert such good chances just sums up why we are where we are. Nice to see so many players getting MOM nominations...shows they all put in 100%. What did everyone think of that offside desicion in the first half? Can't remember who it was (Euell?) had the ball looked like he was about to pass to BWP(?) - but didn't because he probably saw him straying offside - yet Euell was still flagged off despite looking like he'd just gone past the defender. Seemed like the linesman (the one on the Itchen side) didn't even understand the rules from where I was. He was woeful all day. Good atmosphere for the match though but was crining from the stands during the pitch invasion. What good did everyone think it would do? Received some nice negative publicity from ITV on the Championship for that. -
I'm expecting there to be a very good atmosphere for some reason. I really hope there is. After all, we don't have to worry about relegation as such anymore. No point in kicking up a fuss about it. I plan to enjoy myself and do my bit to show the world what Saints fans are all about. For the game itself: 2-2

I bought my tickets a few days ago, but am feeling ill today and not sure I'll be able to make it down there or not now (it's a 5 hour journey for me each way!). If I still feel like this tomorrow and decide not to go, can I just phone them up and ask them to donate my ticket?

Reasons why you have not bought a ticket for Saturday
Mr saint replied to Amesbury Saint's topic in The Saints
I'm having to leave at 6am to get there in the morning but I'm still going. Can't believe how poor ticket sales have been so far. -
I'm not really sure what the point in this thread is... I'm sure they could find plenty more ways of punishing us.

100% agree. May as well just be positive about it for now. I'm up for simply either 90 minutes of pure OWTS, 90 minutes of 'We shall not be moved' or 'we'll never die'.
