  1. Lots of the ball without doing anything with it. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

  3. Uummmm quite simply really. We get on and support the 11 guys that make up the team on the pitch. It's what the fans that have come to the stadium do. When I go to the first game of the season against Burnley I won't be wondering what Dusan is doing, or what what Virgil is up to, wondering how Vic is getting on at Spurs. No, I'll be going mental for the team that we have out here and now. It aint rocket science, it's how it's been for years.
  4. Hate to say it, I'm not confident either. We haven't played any quality yet, smacked 5 past a poor side which can give a false sense of confidence. I'm fearing a revert to type and suffering a close fought defeat - next plane home.
  5. Agree totally. Personally I would give him more time this season before bombing him out, but it appears that the decision has been made. I wish him no ill will, few players are going to refuse a shot at playing in the premiere league. Unfortunately for him he joined a team on the down and wasn't able to make any sort of an impact, but I don't think it was through any lack of effort on his part.
  6. Rory - easily.
  7. I wouldn't be adverse to this. He gets stick from some on here for some reason, but when I watch him play I don't see the same faults. I just see a guy give 100% every game, pure effort. I know, it's not all about effort and that should be a given, but he is decent in the air and can tackle, he's also a handful in the oppositions box at set pieces too. People say that he has a mistake in him but that's true of any player you care to mention. Though I love the guy, thought Bertie was a little quiet as captain, I'd give Maya a go.
  8. This. Players will come and go, most will actually go amicably with little or no malice. Yes they might get some stick if they return but generally speaking it will be the normal banter any returning player gets. Crouchie did us at Stoke this year, has to walk past the away fans to the tunnel at full time - we gave him some stick but he just smiled meekly, shrugged his shoulders almost apologetically - nothing nasty. But then you have the few, who through their own actions at the club who bring the wrath of the crowd upon them when they return - we all know who they are and unfortunately in recent years we've had a few of them. But in general, players move on, as do the fans.
  9. Probably best you decided against then...! [emoji3] Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

He doesn't talk dog shyte like some on here. Gives the information straight explains where he came by it, one of the few worth listening to. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

  21. When you're shutting up shop, Long is just the player you want up top to chase the out ball. I know it's not his primary role but when we're in that position he's the guy to see out games. Is that enough alone to keep him, I'm not sure. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  22. Top pros..! If that report is true I hope nobody comes in for them and they have to go groveling back to their parent club. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  23. Two top posts right there. Contrary to popular postings on here I don't think the club is quite the shambles that some on here promote and would like you to believe it is. There's no denying we've made mistakes over the past two years or so, but the vilification of some people is over the top to say the least. I would imagine that revue and reflection of the season is carried out routinely anyway and changes in responsibilities factored in where necessary. No doubt Mark Hughes would've been part of that consultation, so I would imagine that he is happy with the clubs structure. I really don't understand the constant negativity from some people, new season coming up, enjoy. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  24. I think Glasgow's right, everything I've noted over the past week would lead me to the conclusion that he's being cleverly downgraded and shoehorned into the teapersons role. No doubt about it. Sent from my HTC One M8s using Tapatalk
  25. Appears to be a bit of a marmite player with Celtic fans, ok with me, I love marmite. Welcome Stuart Armstrong. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
