  1. Key points... "...to discuss a wide range of off-pitch subjects."
  2. This is what I would love to see. Whilst I love football, the financials sicken me greatly, (makes me a bit of a hypocrite I guess as I continue to go). Unfortunately in my lifetime I doubt very much if I will ever see the day that ALL fans boycott the game in order to bring about some form of reality to those with their noses in the trough. I think Jimmy Hill was widely credited with campaigning for players to earn a decent living out of the game which is fair enough, but I think it's now time for a real ambassador to step forward and campaign for pay caps - the fans have payed enough.
  3. You've probably just got brittle bones - go see a doctor and stop giving us all false hope.
  4. Excellent - perhaps Les and Ralph might think they need to get their fingers out before they fall to the same fate.
  5. Look on the bright side, at least we won't be playing Wolves again next season. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

    Pellegrino OUT

I am at the point where I don't care about a replacement. I'd be perfectly happy to just get rid of him and let the players crack on by themselves. Damage limitation, I'm now convinced the not having a manager is better than letting him continue to make a complete balls up of everything.
  7. Likely to be one of the shortest threads ever.
  8. Things will change though. Our league status will change pretty rapidly. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  9. Let's face it, when we go down a season ticket is of little benefit s anyway. There will be much less demand, very few sellouts, if any, so you can pretty much pick and choose your games to suit, you'll miss very little. Given the level of entertainment over the past two seasons, I wouldn't be surprised too see a marked decline in sales. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  10. I blame my ****ing dad, all those years ago in 1966 he could've taken me to the ****ing zoo instead. ****ed right off. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

He wouldn't, no chance. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  12. I don't mind watching it now and again, but i have no idea of the rules. It appears very technical to me as well, lots of things happen that totally confuse me. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

  14. So predictable though, wasn't it. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  15. Just to be clear, I haven't got a clue what MoPe will do, or what will happen at the weekend - so please don't ask for any clarification. Thanks.
  16. Jack Stephens...!
  17. Managed to get 2 tickets this morning in A3 - but since then looks like they have made Block A6 available as well - looks like we could have quite a decent turn out.
  18. Sounds pretty feasible to me, certainly an explanation that I would be happy to accept. If this were indeed the case I have little complaint with how we have handled either player with regard to transfer dealings to be honest. I find claims that we courted players purely to pacify fans, frankly, laughable.

Maybe so, but it's also the sort of PR crap that EVERY club would use. Let's face it, no club is going to say anything different. "We've had interest from every Tom **** and Harry but they were all 'has beens' so we've decided to appoint the tea lady". Our PR lines are pretty much standard stuff - nothing to beat the club about.
  20. Naaahhh - it was all a ruse, obviously.
  21. None of them to be quite honest. At the end of the day look at the amount of money Liverpool have thrown our way, what have they won, the square route of naff all. Couldn't give a toss about any of them.
  22. Were you there? Because from where I was it looked like he was busting a gut to get to the ball, but was having to lean back slightly and couldn't get over it. You may not like some of the players but to accuse anybody of not trying yesterday is pure madness, I really do wonder about some of our fans sometimes. He missed the header - he didn't mean to.

    Lawro MOTD 2

Thought Lawro was really funny, read the rule book to prove it was a penalty, but then disagreed and said it shouldn't have been, same with Genus as well. And these are 'expert ' pundits, hilarious. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

  25. Have to agree, very special day yesterday. Thought West Brom did an excellent job of the commemorations for Cyrille Regis, don't mind admitting I shed a tear or two during the scarf tribute, very moving. Was really worried after the first 15 when we were one down and it seemed quite a few players were having a pop at each other, but as the first half wore on we seemed to settle into it. From where we were in the away end, right behind the goal, you knew that all of the other end were thinking 'oh sh it', while we were thinking 'oh yeah ' as Lemina struck his, there was only going to be one outcome. Three minutes later when we took the lead it was pandemonium and I would just like to take this opportunity to apologise to the guy that I accidentally forearm smashed in the face during the celebrations...! After the break, I was relieved that we didn't try to sit on the lead and continued on the front foot, thought we all looked confident with the ball, which is probably why Boufal fancied his chances with the free kick. Some will say that the keeper should have saved it, maybe so but it was still a decent strike from JWP (my Lord JWP, ooohhh Lord JWP). Can't really knock anything that the manager did yesterday, although Shane missed his header (from where I was it looked like he was just stretching back a little), he really is what you want in the last 10 when you need somebody to run the channels and get you out when your penned in. Personally thought the fans were excellent yesterday, and judging by the players reaction at the end I think they certainly felt the same, was good to see quite a few gave their shirts away at the final whistle. Shouted/ sung myself hoarse yesterday, which is pretty much the sign of a good away day. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
