Just got back, to say that the best team lost is simply not true. We bossed the first half and deservedly went in winning. We actually weathered the inevitable WBA fast start in the second half to extend our advantage. After the week that they have had they were always going to have to put in a performance in front of their fans, but again we stood firm. Yep, McCarthy played really well, but sometimes you need your keeper to do that. Some of his punches today were not the best, but he always gets something on the ball. He does things that Fraser just doesn't, like coming for crosses and making saves, been really impressed with him. Nobody really had a mare, Hoedt has a mistake in him, Gabi looks a bit lost and made half hearted attempts to retrieve the ball or to close down, but generally speaking it was a decent away performance. Fans were good as well, maybe not quite as loud as 2 weeks ago, but still good support. All in all a good day out, hope we get a decent draw. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

I wish I shared your confidence. I really can't see us getting back up any time soon. As it happened, the last time we were relegated administration actually helped us in that it bought us to the attention of Markus. This time we will be one of the teams that every other wants to beat, really don't see us handling the pressure, or being back in the top flight for a good few years. Nothing at all they can do. (If they want the continued support of the NRA and it's supporters.) A really, really ****ed up society.

Being a greedy barstuward I want to win cups and stay in the premiere league.

This is what I would love to see. Whilst I love football, the financials sicken me greatly, (makes me a bit of a hypocrite I guess as I continue to go). Unfortunately in my lifetime I doubt very much if I will ever see the day that ALL fans boycott the game in order to bring about some form of reality to those with their noses in the trough. I think Jimmy Hill was widely credited with campaigning for players to earn a decent living out of the game which is fair enough, but I think it's now time for a real ambassador to step forward and campaign for pay caps - the fans have payed enough.

You've probably just got brittle bones - go see a doctor and stop giving us all false hope.

Excellent - perhaps Les and Ralph might think they need to get their fingers out before they fall to the same fate.

Look on the bright side, at least we won't be playing Wolves again next season. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

I am at the point where I don't care about a replacement. I'd be perfectly happy to just get rid of him and let the players crack on by themselves. Damage limitation, I'm now convinced the not having a manager is better than letting him continue to make a complete balls up of everything.

Likely to be one of the shortest threads ever.

Things will change though. Our league status will change pretty rapidly. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

Let's face it, when we go down a season ticket is of little benefit s anyway. There will be much less demand, very few sellouts, if any, so you can pretty much pick and choose your games to suit, you'll miss very little. Given the level of entertainment over the past two seasons, I wouldn't be surprised too see a marked decline in sales. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

I blame my ****ing dad, all those years ago in 1966 he could've taken me to the ****ing zoo instead. ****ed right off. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

I don't mind watching it now and again, but i have no idea of the rules. It appears very technical to me as well, lots of things happen that totally confuse me. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

Just to be clear, I haven't got a clue what MoPe will do, or what will happen at the weekend - so please don't ask for any clarification. Thanks.

Managed to get 2 tickets this morning in A3 - but since then looks like they have made Block A6 available as well - looks like we could have quite a decent turn out.

Did we really have any intention of buying Promes?

Sounds pretty feasible to me, certainly an explanation that I would be happy to accept. If this were indeed the case I have little complaint with how we have handled either player with regard to transfer dealings to be honest. I find claims that we courted players purely to pacify fans, frankly, laughable. -
Maybe so, but it's also the sort of PR crap that EVERY club would use. Let's face it, no club is going to say anything different. "We've had interest from every Tom **** and Harry but they were all 'has beens' so we've decided to appoint the tea lady". Our PR lines are pretty much standard stuff - nothing to beat the club about.

Naaahhh - it was all a ruse, obviously.
