You're loving this aren't you? Making the most of every little morsel. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

What nail, whose head? All you've been saying for the last ten years is that we will finish 17th, you're as big a dickhead as the troll. Why do I get the impression that you are one and the same? Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

Not like you. This thread and outcome is made for the troll now, he will be all over it like a cat that's got the cream. He is a grade a dickhead. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

So effectively just allow the player to do what the fu ck they like, and don't criticise. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

That's your ducking swear filter Jimmy, get it turned off for this thread now. VvD deserves all the expletives he is going to get from here on in. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

So much wrong on so many levels with this whole sorry saga, Liverpool's tapping up, media personalities screaming for him to go, the Premiere league doing the bare minimum too ward off Liverpool, and finally the players crass disregard for the club, the fans and his contract. Personally, I now just want him to fu ck off, I don't give a sh it how good he is, I'd rather have somebody who wants to be here than a money grabbing ducking mercenary. They can bid what they want - Liverpool are not a selling club: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/40679205

You're not allowed to call Glasgow a troll, he finds it very upsetting, I demand you apologise immediately....! Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

I sincerely hope that you are correct - but at the end of the day, if he goes, it isn't the end of the world. I work with a Liverpool fan and we've already said that we think its more likely that he will start the season with them than with us. I will be gutted if that is the case, but we've been through this over and over and at the end of the day we just deal with it. Will I be embarrassed at all. No, probably not, Ill probably be just a little smug in that the club have managed to find yet another gem and do great business on it. Move on. Next.
-
Yep - I'd feel hugely embarrassed - don't know if I would be able to face the world ever again - could be total devastation for thousands of fans. Get a grip you divot, there isn't a player bigger than the club.

As somebody who doesn't do this twitter thing, who is Joseph Musker...?

Luckily I studied Latin, the phase you are looking for is ****tiuscrappiusplayerus. HTH. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

Not convinced by this one to be honest, didn't have the greatest season last year. Just doesn't command his box, gambles and stays on his line. I just wish he would come for the ball more and at least affect the play. A goalkeeper of his size should be clearing a lot more out, before the ball drops. Perhaps next season will be better for him, I hope so. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

Thanks for sharing - hope this is the clubs position, still a chance that somebody might stump up the stupid money, but if that were the case we would be made to not consider it.
-
Then buy the club and put your own budgets in place.
-
You're absolutely correct, it is. Not too many years ago the club neglected this which ended up in successive relegation's down the leagues. So as the OP stated we need to be a well run club. That means working within our budget (or more specifically, the owners budget). Fans are very good at spending other peoples money. I, for one, am very happy that we are a club that is currently making money, not so many years ago, that wasn't the case.
-
Again, absolutely agree. We are what we are and we are where we are. Whether you like it or not there is a footballing pyramid and we are pretty much where we should be. Yes the club will talk about CL ambitions, but reality is they are things that we can strive for, but achieving them is very, very difficult. Taking the pyramid as a whole - I'm more than happy with our position in it. (Leeds Utd, Sheffield Utd, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Birmingham City, Aston Villa, etc).

Couldn't agree more - but you have to accept that this is just a message board, most of what you read will be opinion and therefore much will be pure bollux. Most of the so called ITK posts are nothing of the kind, most are cryptic rubbish at best, others are look at me - I know something, which usually transpires to be nothing of substance at all. Then you have the trolls - we all know who they are, but we kind of tolerate them, they unfortunately need this place to exist in life - feel sorry for them. But ultimately - it's as i said - just a message board. I enjoy some of the more informed stuff (Chez springs to mind, I enjoy some of the humour), so Ill check it out most days. But, I do agree - some of the stuff is just pure rubbish (a lot of things make me wonder what the age of the poster is!). So while I agree with you - I also think you have to take most of the stuff here with a very LARGE pinch of salt.

How would you feel if no one left but we didn't sign anyone else?
Micky replied to Bad Wolf's topic in The Saints
You are correct all round. I was being ironic - hard not to around here. But I also totally agree with your assessment. Another DM is priority as far as I am concerned. If we kept everybody else I'd be happy - but if we lose Romeu for any amount of time we could be in trouble. -

I'd be gutted if we never bought anybody else in. If we are going to keep up with Everton we need at least another 6 or 7 stellar players, buy, buy, buy I say. -

But we want it now. Right now.

Fair do's.

Me too, am I allowed to have a 'second team'?

That's a very kind way of putting it Mowgli. From what I saw he has been average at best, and sometime bloody awful. We were right to offload when we did.
