I agree with Tony, can't see us in the top six, we've played well but ultimately lost against all of the top teams. I'm not a skate.

Seasons greeting to you all, hope the fat fella delivers all you wished for tonite. Have a great one.

Until I had read this thread I was totally unaware that such 'charity sites' existed. Frankly, I find the whole concept quite appalling, how are such things legal. Am I missing something, but if I was to donate, where on the site would it advise me that most of my money would not go to charity.

First sensible post I have read.

I'd rip your arm off for a point.

I think that we can safely say that the wheels have well and truly come off. I can't see where we get a point from in the next five games. Avoiding relegation will be a successful season.....
-
Looking at that, given our current form, I don't see a point in there for us to be honest - which would make it 1 out of 28.... so who thinks we are CL contenders now or a serious top 6 side. We'll do well to match or top last season at this rate.

My post taken from the Burnley Build Up Thread, especially for Saint86 "Our finishing in front of goal is woeful, we look short of confidence and FF blows hot and cold. Throw in our injuries and this is no easy game. Burnley will be well up for this given our recent form. I'd take a point now, but can see us getting nothing." Man up FFS!

The Dingles will be a whole lot better than Man Utd tonight, and we failed to beat them at home. Our finishing in front of goal is woeful, we look short of confidence and FF blows hot and cold. Throw in our injuries and this is no easy game. Burnley will be well up for this given our recent form. I'd take a point now, but can see us getting nothing.
-
Awful really, yes you can say that we played ok, but they were really poor and we still failed to beat them, so realistically what does that make us? They must have thought they were playing father fukin christmas. Fontes gift and then one that the keeper should have easily dealt with or at least influenced. 3 points chucked away as far as I can see.
-
We are gonna get sucker punched....
-
Should've got at least a point from both those games. Great save from Morgan and Mane missing a sitter cost us. We played well at Anfield and WHL.
-
Can't see us getting anything tomorrow, nor on Monday for that matter. The table is merely taking it's normal form, the cream is coming to the top. We will be fine, can see a mid table finish (8 - 12) maybe. So while I see the European thing as nothing more than a pipe dream, we won't have to worry about relegation either. Sit back, relax, enjoy.
-
Pretty much this. Would love to see some European football, but we didn't 'cope' yesterday when we lost Morgan for half a game. Don't want it if it jeopardises our Prem status though.
-
Well I think we can safely say that we are nowhere near a top four side now. Top half maybe , but we are miles off of their level. Even with ten they are all over us.
-
We are having a mate, we could play all night and not score. Villa look much more likely...

I'm starting to think that he isn't really a human. Can somebody please de-crypt his last post?

Move on people, move on...

So did I and I only live 45 bloody minutes away as well...! Road closed, great - 40 mile detour, then an accident on A50 - god it just went on. Eventually got to the car park - guy running it gave me and another fan, who was delayed due to the M6, a lift to the ground - was that you? Result made it all worthwhile though and great turn out from the away fans.
-
Serious question, have you ever served?

For those who think can/will finish higher than 8th this season

We have played two of the big boys this season, and lost. Some of you need to get some perspective - we are a mid table side, so long as we win that league, all is well. -
Great win for us today. Liverpool last on motd today...???

Saints 8 (Eight) Sunderland 0 - Match and Reactions

Newcastle fans will be loving this and feeling much better about their trip to SMS now. -
That was exactly my first thought as well. I know it's not really down to you to rearrange your property to sort this issue out, but if feasible, I would look at removing half the panel and moving the end post which would probably give you more than enough room to manoeuvre in and out. As I say - I don't know what is the other side of the fence - but it looks feasible to me.

I think that CSI do have a point - up to a point. If you join at 16 you can terminate at any time before you are 18, but once over that threshold then you are committed for another 4 years. Personally I think that junior entrants should be able to exercise the option to leave at any point up until they are 20 years old. It gives them more time to see what the 'real' army / navy / air force is actually like. However, this is not all about young people joining the Infantry and suddenly realising that the wars are real. From a MoD point of view, if you invest kit, equipment, accommodation, basic training, adventure training and then technical trade training into an individual - then this comes at quite a hefty price - hence they rightly want some return for all of that investment. As a result they have to set certain lengths of service dependant on the investment that they have made. Apparently only about 1.5 per cent of forces personnel fall into the junior category and the majority of those appear to be quite happy with the choice that they have made - therefore it begs the question of how prevalent is it that people are tied to contracts that perhaps they did not read properly at the time of signing. I sympathise with those who find themselves in a position that perhaps they don't want to be in, and I really don't think it's too hard an issue to solve - but I think that CSI are in this for the media coverage more than anything else.
