I'm with Chapel End Charlie and Pap on this one. Anything that Ennio Morricone has done is pure genius. That said, my wife gives me grief because not only do I like the music to, but I also like this film: An acquired taste maybe - but I loved it...!

Stop picking holes mate, Alpine wants a new kit and he wants if ****in' now, ok.

The only teary eyed halfwit is you....!!!! Players come and players go, that's football, that's how it has always been. Channon, Shearer, Bale, Walcott all of them (and hundreds more) great players, but they all went. After they went, we as a club got on with it. That's how football works. There are a few who have sugar daddies and so life for them is somewhat easier - they will always sit at the pinnacle of the football hierarchy. For the rest of us we have to make our way in the football world - that's life. We were the 8th best team in the country last year - great season to be a Saints fan. Next season we could well get relegated - but I'll still be a Saints fan. So while we get on with supporting Saints why not go sit in the corner and cry a while you teary eyed halfwit.

Oohhhh eerrrrrrr real bad day on Saintsweb I see. Poch has packed his bags and left for London, meanwhile nobody noticed Glasgow Saint sneaking in the back door. This place goes into meltdown, apparently the board are rotten to the core and don't have a clue. My bet is something like this, on 16 August 2014, 12 blokes in red and white (stripes?) will take the field and the crowd will go mental. They have done for the last 100 years and will do for the next 100 years. Some of you need to calm down, the journey is not for 5 years, it's for life.

I do. I'm going to become a granddad for the first time sometime in the next two weeks. Can't wait.

I take out that the Skate scarf that was buried under the pitch, when the pitch was laid will be replaced when the work is completed. Lets face it, its proved to be a bit of a lucky omen up to now. Sent from my HTC One S using Tapatalk

Getting exactly the same on two different machines, one at home and one at work - but only when on this site, no problems anywhere else on the net. Have added details to the thread here: http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?49505-Saintsweb-adding-malware-to-my-PC#.U3ADf2LQeHs From what I can gather this is to do with the ads that are associated with the site - hoping one of the MODS/Admins will check it out.

Having problems here as well, both on home machine and work machine: Have Norton 360 on home machine and it is reporting as follows: Alert Summary: High Web Attack: Fake Flash Update Download Intrusion attempt by: update.newsflashplaer.us was blocked Attacking PC: 173.230.147.191,80 Source Address: 73.230.147.191 Have had this a couple of time - but only when on Saints Web - and as a result Norton closes the site on my PC. I have also had the same on my work PC which is protected by AVG Professional. I don't have the full details, but it was the same 'Flash update download' type message - again I was booted from the site. This has only started happening to me over the last 10 days - and as I said above, it doesn't happen on any other site other than Saints Web.

Veho announced as new main club sponsor of Southampton Football Club

Translated to my speak.... 'You've feasted like the true troll that you are Barry. Why don't you shove your laptop up your arse and **** right off'. -
Totally agree - Durham has to be, without exception, the worst broadcaster in, any field, on the radio. How he is given the air time is unbelievable. As for Gough - again, I concur.

Ohhh bollux - don't you just hate the forum swear filter....!!! As a 3 post a day user - I have no editing rights either. I'm sure you get my drift though.

Whilst I can't be too bothered to go and research this story, I'm assuming that he used the word '******'. As some others here have alluded to, it's probably best to at least go and check the 'context' in which he used it before you put him up against the wall and shoot him.

Sad to say, but what an interesting thread...! My 10p’s for what it’s worth. I totally agree with the pub analogy made by others and believe it to be relevant here as well. I believe that there are a good many posters that probably have shied away from here as a result of the level of trolling that now infests this site. (No, GS I’m not going to name them, but I am one of them). Reading through this thread it is fairly evident that people do think that it has become a problem and is detrimental to the overall experience of the site. Let’s face it, when Trousers gives up the ghost, it’s got to be pretty bad. I can understand people wanting Steve to take action – but at the same time you have to appreciate Steve’s point of view as well. It is after all his site – therefore it is his prerogative as to who (and how) they use it (he is the pub landlord if you will). For my part, I binned my subscription about 18 months ago and it was purely down to the trolling that was going on. However, this has kind of worked for me. Knowing that I can now only make 3 posts a day makes me refrain from taking any active part in a thread or getting embroiled in pointless debate with the trolls. However, I still lurk here almost daily – and while it is very sad to see the decline of what was a very decent forum, I sort of find myself laughing as I read through each and every thread and see it getting hijacked and derailed. So I guess I no longer go into the pub anymore, but stand outside looking through the windows, laughing at what a bloody mess is going on inside. Who knows though, if a refurbishment were to take place anytime soon, I might decide that I fancy venturing inside for a beer again.

Well said Minty, and point taken. But surely this young lady should have learned from her own tragic mother, that the path that she was treading was not the correct one. Either way - RIP Peaches.

This!! You're a fukin shyte poster mate - you should post far less (not at all would be good). I have enjoyed naff all of your posts over the years, even the ones that I did 100% agree with.

Eight-placed finish - what does this mean for us in practice?
Micky replied to SaintJackoInHurworth's topic in The Saints
Are you lost? Totally agree with all of that - but you missed Mopo's big fat juicy bonus (apparently), other than that though, spot on. Now pi ss off back to the PTS you nutjob, we are not used to rational conversion on here. Sent from my HTC One S using Tapatalk -
Didn't our most respected ITKer, The Vman, tell us before he left that two or three would be leaving... surely he would be closest to the mark. Sent from my HTC One S using Tapatalk

Exactly what happened last time we played Villa at SMS - they only touched the ball 3 times but still walked off with all the points....

Not so sure myself, sports related diagnosis have moved on considerably recently. Personally I can see the specialist givin' it a reete gud prod, and if he screams, we'll know it's a bad un.

No ambition here, let's just do whatever makes MoPo the most money at the end of the day. Look, it kept us well in the league this year, so same for next year. So long as he gets his nice fat juicy bonus, I'm happy as a pig in shyte.

You miss the point. It's all opinion - you know that you're a professional referee. In the opinion of todays referee - both were fouls - that's how he saw them. The fact that you've coached football for 40 years, are a qualified referee and still play centre back at 45 years of age - mean the square root of naff all, and make your argument or opinion no more valid than the next mans. '...if, in the opinion of the referee...', remember that? One mans foul is another mans dive - it's what makes football compulsive viewing. Take the tints off and neither were fouls. All IMHO of course.
