  1. This. In his time Gerrard has been a top pro. Liverpool are improving week on week (last year they were very strong in the second half of the season as well). They have a great chance of winning the cup and will no doubt finish higher than us.
  2. Typical saints, all fa rt and no sh it. Need to drop a massive log in the second half to show our intention...
  3. Lambert brace to win it for Liverpool.....
  4. Relax.... "Pougatch will also continue his work with BBC Radio 5 Live and PLTV." http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/news-and-comment/adrian-chiles-leaves-itv-football-presenter-joins-exodus-with-immediate-effect-following-andy-townsend-and-matt-smith-announcement-9997920.html
  5. Has to be, without exception (and that includes Garth Crooks) the worst sports media pundit anywhere. Whenever I am unfortunate enough to catch any of his afternoon show on TalkSport I actually feel sorry for the guy, he is that bad. (By the way - what has he got against Arsenal and Arsene Wenger - did he **** his wife or something?) But not only is his show abysmal, but they have also paired him up with Darren Gough - Jesus Christ - the guy struggles to pronounce single syllable words ffs. Together they really are a comedy duo. I'm just amazed that not only does he get airtime on the radio but a paper also gives him column inches to prove what a complete and utter numpty he really is.
  6. Battered them at home and still lost. We haven't beaten many (any) sides 3 or 4 nil away this season, so highly unlikely. United's home form is very very good, we will do well to come away with a point. Personally, expecting a close game but ultimately a loss.
  7. "Top team win" monkey off our back. Great result, bring it on for United.
  8. Rick, I really don't believe that I'm wasting one of my 'three a day' on this, but here goes. Everton are not, consistently, a top team, occasionally, maybe. Chelsea, city, United, arsenal, Liverpool and spurs always will be in the mix at the end of the season. Add Everton and maybe Swansea and its a real fight to get into that top 7 or 8. I would say that at the end of the day we will finish around 7 to 10, and I'd be more than happy with that. I'm not bleating mate, really enjoying the season, but if you want a rod to beat me with, come back after we have beaten Chelsea tomorrow.
  9. I agree with Tony, can't see us in the top six, we've played well but ultimately lost against all of the top teams. I'm not a skate.
  10. Seasons greeting to you all, hope the fat fella delivers all you wished for tonite. Have a great one.
  11. Until I had read this thread I was totally unaware that such 'charity sites' existed. Frankly, I find the whole concept quite appalling, how are such things legal. Am I missing something, but if I was to donate, where on the site would it advise me that most of my money would not go to charity.
  12. First sensible post I have read.
  13. I'd rip your arm off for a point.
  14. I think that we can safely say that the wheels have well and truly come off. I can't see where we get a point from in the next five games. Avoiding relegation will be a successful season.....
  15. Looking at that, given our current form, I don't see a point in there for us to be honest - which would make it 1 out of 28.... so who thinks we are CL contenders now or a serious top 6 side. We'll do well to match or top last season at this rate.
  16. My post taken from the Burnley Build Up Thread, especially for Saint86 "Our finishing in front of goal is woeful, we look short of confidence and FF blows hot and cold. Throw in our injuries and this is no easy game. Burnley will be well up for this given our recent form. I'd take a point now, but can see us getting nothing." Man up FFS!
  17. The Dingles will be a whole lot better than Man Utd tonight, and we failed to beat them at home. Our finishing in front of goal is woeful, we look short of confidence and FF blows hot and cold. Throw in our injuries and this is no easy game. Burnley will be well up for this given our recent form. I'd take a point now, but can see us getting nothing.
  18. Awful really, yes you can say that we played ok, but they were really poor and we still failed to beat them, so realistically what does that make us? They must have thought they were playing father fukin christmas. Fontes gift and then one that the keeper should have easily dealt with or at least influenced. 3 points chucked away as far as I can see.
  19. We are gonna get sucker punched....
  20. Should've got at least a point from both those games. Great save from Morgan and Mane missing a sitter cost us. We played well at Anfield and WHL.
  21. Can't see us getting anything tomorrow, nor on Monday for that matter. The table is merely taking it's normal form, the cream is coming to the top. We will be fine, can see a mid table finish (8 - 12) maybe. So while I see the European thing as nothing more than a pipe dream, we won't have to worry about relegation either. Sit back, relax, enjoy.
  22. Pretty much this. Would love to see some European football, but we didn't 'cope' yesterday when we lost Morgan for half a game. Don't want it if it jeopardises our Prem status though.
  23. Well I think we can safely say that we are nowhere near a top four side now. Top half maybe , but we are miles off of their level. Even with ten they are all over us.
  24. We are having a mate, we could play all night and not score. Villa look much more likely...
  25. I'm starting to think that he isn't really a human. Can somebody please de-crypt his last post?
