Quite glad really, didn't want to lose to a Boruk cock up. Early night too, won't be staying up to watch MOTD. Sent from my HTC One S using Tapatalk

Yep - first tried it whilst having a meze in Dhekelia early 80's. Loved it then and very glad it has made itself widely available over here now.

I think those are the main issues - how long are we going to persevere, he's not delivering so could well be that we look to offload. Problem 1 - whose likely to want to pay anywhere near what we did? Doing great in the league at the moment - but depth of squad looks thin. Problem 2 - a couple of injuries and we start to slide.
-
Would have taken a point before the game - shame about the freak goal but hey ho - ever nearer 38 points and safety.

They are thieving gits, who are in bed with the Government. Once again joe public is the loser.

Quite simply, starts mean absolutely nothing, finishes do.

Saints playing for England (and other internationals)

Yep Milner, good assist..... Sent from my HTC One S using Tapatalk 2 -
Don't really understand why this man gets all the childish 'name calling' attached to comments. If you saw him play then you will know that he was a very decent player in his day and he has taken that into management. Did a great job at Leeds and has carried that through with Brighton - I believe he got them promoted and then to the play offs as well - so almost did a Nigel. OK so he doesn't have Premiership experience, but neither did MP, everybody has to start somewhere, and let's face it Sunderland are probably currently on par with top to middling Championship sides. No doubt he will take a much different approach to PDC - while I feel a little sorry for Kevin Ball, I hope Poyet does well.

Being greedy would've liked a couple more goals - but we are in the Champions League places and another clean sheet - life is good. Well done boys... -
Old news.......

Anything less than 3 points will take some of the gloss off of last weeks performance for me. Yes I know that football logic rarely works, but if we can do Liverpool at Anfield then Palace at home is a routine win - surely. Would love to see 3 or 4 home goals with both SRL and Osvaldo both scoring from open play. A good rout and clean sheet please.
-
Clean sheet and a point from Anfield - hell yeah, I'd take it.

Tri-service operations have nothing to do with who is 'Top Dog' with soldiers on the ground (although I am aware that such snobbery exist at certain Command levels). NI was seen by some as a 'training arena' for the Army to hone it's operational tactics. I believe the RAF look similarly at the garrison on Mount Pleasant - they all want their slice of the pie - but it actually means very little to the guy on the front line. In recent operations (last 30 years) the Army has provided the majority of front line personnel - and ground warfare has been totally unavoidable. I have done NI, the FI, the Gulf and Bosnia - as was the politicians bidding. If we are now saying we can conduct the same such operations without the need for ground forces then I would be sceptical at best but bloody happy. If we are saying that we are never ever going to enter into such operational situations in the future - again I would be very sceptical. As I say - the Navy can be the Top Dog - but to the soldier on the ground he really doesn't give a flying fuk, personally now I would much rather they stay at home. (Unfortunately though, I don't think it's going to work out like that for very long).

The article is actually a very sad inditement of how the government have shafted the Army. But as someone who has recently served over 25 years I would actually be quite pleased if the lads were bought out of the forces front line. They have been there for far too long and now its beginning to take its toll. Operational deployments have been at an all time high, yet massive cuts have been made. Get them all home I say, they deserve a break. Sent from my HTC One S using Tapatalk 4

Do you think players get advised not to look on this forum?
Micky replied to ashleyb5443's topic in The Saints
I don't think it would make a blind bit of difference to him. I think you need to understand the hierarchy of posters that have developed on this forum. Sent from my HTC One S using Tapatalk 4 -
Might have had a mare, but lesser players would have found it easy to hide. He hasn't, and for that I've been pretty impressed with him. Sent from my HTC One S using Tapatalk 4

If WHam are really that gash - how is it we never took them apart - we were at home, with the red army behind us, playing a gash team and we failed to win - we even failed to score. I think the truth is that we are both pretty average teams really. We may have shown a little more than them but then again - you would hope that would be the case being at home. BFS really has got them hoofing it - the old and bold at WHU must be cringing having to watch that dross every week. Really think it is time to drop all talk of Champions League now - Sky presenters and BBC are referring to it and it's more than a little bit embarrassing - we are nowhere near that level. As somebody else said on a different thread - let's try and get our 40 points first - judging by our early games that might take us some time. FWIW I thought we looked pretty comfortable at the back today, but showed little craft in the middle and up front to really unlock them. If we can't unlock dross at home then we are likely to struggle to improve upon last season.

Jan Tomaswepski or whatever his bloody name is..... couldn't name you any other Polish player..... but he is forever ingrained...... bloody awful night...... The Clown..... never again....

Really, you think so..... Really can't see why that would be the case. Good first half from him, no worse than most others in the second. Sent from my HTC One S using Tapatalk 4

I think that it's true to say for most of the few that, 'the corks have popped before the pennies dropped...!' I was one who thought that this thread should be closed - but seeing the 'HP agreement' that they have to furnish, I guess it's going to be a few pages yet before a Mod presses the button.
