Somebody, somewhere, at some time (although probably not in my lifetime) is going to come and level the football playing field, make the game much more competitive, but more importantly - give it back to the real working class people - the fans, where it rightfully belongs.

Exactly and you can talk about investment all you like, we may well sign more players and invest yet more money. But that guarantees absolutely nothing - look at Leicesters outlay, did it help - not one didlysquat really. If, we blow it (and I have a real, real bad feeling) then I think we will be in this league for a while to come. A bit like Leeds trying to get outta league 1 - should be a doddle, but couldnt just make it. Having said all of that - I'm actually not that bothered about the prem anyway - I tend to think it's one of the most uncompetitive leagues going - 3 teams in with a shout, after that everybody else making up the numbers.

Exactly. I am staggered by the amount of people who seem to think that we will simply walk the league next year. I just cannot see that happening at all. We have got ourselves into a great position this season, we wont get another chance like this in a long time - if we blow it, we stay in this league for some years to come methinks.

All 3 were culpable, Fox, Fonte and Davis (probably in that order). We showed our pretty stuff yesterday, which looked good. They showed their effective stuff, which got results.

A bit like the shot from Crouch that should have gone into row z, but ended up with an easy save for the Keeper - the rest, as they say, is history.

I stand corrected - so long as we get 3 points tuesday, a draw at boro - I will feel a little more confident going into the last game. I still think it's a big ask though - I dont think our confidence is very good right now.

I think that we have to win all of our games, because after the momentum that they have gained from today, WHU will win all of theirs.

If it comes to that - I don't fancy us at all to be honest. We are a footballing side (as we showed yesterday) but when that fails we don't have the toughness to force a result. Pretty football is not whats needed in the playoffs. It's sh it or bust now - we either do it or bottle it and find ourselves in this league for some years to come.

Could well do, all the pressure is on us now. A couple of weeks ago we were 5 points clear - now those points have disappeared as have our goal difference. Just remains to be seen if our confidence has been blown as well - if if has - its goodnight prem.

Had we got anything from Bristol City, it could have all been different.

I wouldn't worry about gd now - we will obviously put 7 past cov on the last day of the season.

At the end of day, the bottom line is, it really doesnt matter what any other team does. Lets face it Brighton blew it inside the first 10 minutes - WHU are likely to rack up a cricket score, and their confidence will be sky high. None of it matters so long as we win all of our games. Now is the business end of the season, it's in our hands - only we can blow it.

It would be absolutely criminal if we didnt get promoted now. We have (will have) done it the hard way - we have been up there all season to be shot at and lead from the front. As a result, everybody has raised their game against us. We have been the yard stick by which this league has been measured. Not to win the league is bad enough after all of our efforts, but to not get autopromo would be a real kick in the teeth for the lads. We deserve.

If we don't get three points from posh - this could very well happen. And, if we ended up in the play offs I dont think we would stand a scoobies.

Need a big big performance. Anything other than 3 points and I can see West Ham capitilising, I know they havn't put 4 wins togeather all season - but you just know that they could. Win this one - we are there.
