I'm not too sure that there was any malice in it though - it was more a case of as you said before, his leg was already there and coming down - it's one of those where I think you have to give the guy the benefit of the doubt. Yes his studs caught him but, I think it was more clumsy than premeditated.

Totally agree, I think he generally calls it about right. Sent from my HTC Desire using Tapatalk
  3. Did you expect anything other, on either count...?
  4. Ahhh you beat me to it. Is there any creedance to any of these people. Or am on hanging on the words of somebody who could be a total tyrekicker?
  5. Sorry, but for the totally unitiated (twits) twitterers, who exactly is ITKagent1962? Is there any credibility to these sources at all? Just asking as I have no idea why everybody seems to be getting so excited over a rumour that could have spread from anywhere really.
  6. I am so glad that I don't do Facebook/Twitter/Bebo/Etc - tons of worthless shyte being spread all over the country. Other than the OP, who I'm hoping got the information through word of mouth, does anybody really have the low down on this one. Do we have any good ITK's anymore?
  7. If they really are not going to add to their threadbare squad then this will be their undoing. It's all very well going into a long league season with a small squad, but the very first prerequisite would be to instil and maintain discipline. They cannot afford cheap bookings and Cotterill needs to stamp his mark about it onto the players. Currently they can barely populate the bench with a full compliment, keep going at this rate and they could even fail to populate the pitch...!

Not worth the cyberspace they're written on in my opinion.
  9. Reccaro seats should be in bloody sports cars, and flashing ****in tv screens should be in Picafukindilly circus...! I'll stick to the bog standard seats and static advertising hoardings thanks....
  10. How right you were Alps, how right you were. How wrong was the OP...!!!
  11. I hate to say it but this is similar to my own opinion. Every single tournament we talk the talk, but we rarely deliver. Sent from my HTC Desire using Tapatalk
  12. Star trek - the latest one. Not really a trekkie but this one is ok. Sent from my HTC Desire using Tapatalk
  13. I've heard that battleship grey is pretty tough stuff to remove, you should be able to get bucketloads of that stuff.....
  14. Should be quite interesting - not only was there a knife, but also appears that somebody had a gun as well: http://news.sky.com/home/article/16039003 Either way, I'm delighted that the shopkeeper has not been harmed. Perhaps the streets are fighting back, good guys 2 scumbags 0.
  15. Strangely, this: over, this:
  16. When I read lines such as this, I really don't think there is too much of a problem for them: "The financial meltdown at St Andrews has left fans fearing they will become the new Portsmouth, less than six months after they celebrated winning the Carling Cup at Wembley." PFC are doing quite nicely thank you - going about their business as though nothing whatsoever happened. No worries - they will be fine.
  17. Ohhh errr so he did, thats two of us he has confused now....!!!!
  18. I think you'll find that FF is referring to this: quote So it meant that the final game between Saints and Atletico would be a “winner takes all” encounter. unquote Edit: Sorry, good piece btw, enjoyed reading it. Being as I work in Germany most months and see a fair bit of their football on the box - I can appreciate what Tim says. That said - there are some stunningly atmospheric games in the Bundesleague.
  19. I was told exactly the same - only 70 sold. The club is not bothering with the stadium for this one - all fans will be invited to sit in the players area and on the bench. Some may even get a game, bring your kit. First one in, get the nets up please, last ones will be reffing and running the line. FFS - can the football season please start, I really cannot handle too much more......
  20. I really don't think it matters who owes what to whom, or the level of the debt for that matter. The fact will always remain that we went into administration because we were poorly run, PFC went into administration because they were poorly and negligently run. In a way, we were quite lucky that our debt, albeit only 5k (above agreed overdraft) provided a 'hair trigger' to putting us on the path to admin. We could have done a PFC, ignored it, continued on our merry way to in excess of 100 million pounds worth of debt. As far as I can see there are very few parrallels between our administration and PFC's, very few indeed.
  21. I just thank god that this thread is in the vain it is. Having seen some disgusting 'debate' on this board this morning, made me really want to just turn my back on this board and leave - it stank. Well done for highlighting, what I hope most people believe about this tragedy. I hope that the people of Norway, especially those most affected can find some way to come to terms with what has happened. As for the perpetrator - sorry but unlike some I don't believe he is any kind of martyr of deserves any kind of recognition - I hope he rots in hell. Apologies for ranting on your thread.
  22. I don't blame her family. As I said it was her life. But it was also plainly obvious from her last public performance that she needed some serious help. AW was surrounded by people who had the money and influence to do better for her. She wasn't your run of the mill drug addict who could probably hide away from people and decline without people intervening. They (the people that worked with her) tried to put her on stage, less than a month ago - just imagine the pressure of having to perform. Everybody who saw that performance could see that she was a very troubled woman - what about the management, producers, promoters, musicians and yes, family and friends that put that tour togeather. They were all blind - or just irresponsibly blind. It's not their fault, it's Amy's fault. But in life, we all need help and perhaps she didn't quite get all the help she needed.
  23. Totally agree, on the last AW thread I said that it was time for her to be pulled out of the spotlight and time for people to help her. Aparently that is exactly what was meant to be happening, it was reported that she wouldn't be working again until she was ok. Ultimately it's her life (or was) - but I think there are a lot of people who have let her down badly.
  24. It was a thought that did actually occur to me - not so much the legal bills, which I admit will probably be very significant. But moreso, how the gentleman concerned was detained and what appeal rights he might now have available to him.
  25. I stand corrected - in this instance common sence prevailed - long may it continue in my opinion.
