I hate to say it but this is similar to my own opinion. Every single tournament we talk the talk, but we rarely deliver. Sent from my HTC Desire using Tapatalk

I've heard that battleship grey is pretty tough stuff to remove, you should be able to get bucketloads of that stuff.....

Should be quite interesting - not only was there a knife, but also appears that somebody had a gun as well: http://news.sky.com/home/article/16039003 Either way, I'm delighted that the shopkeeper has not been harmed. Perhaps the streets are fighting back, good guys 2 scumbags 0.

Strangely, this: over, this:

When I read lines such as this, I really don't think there is too much of a problem for them: "The financial meltdown at St Andrews has left fans fearing they will become the new Portsmouth, less than six months after they celebrated winning the Carling Cup at Wembley." PFC are doing quite nicely thank you - going about their business as though nothing whatsoever happened. No worries - they will be fine.

Ohhh errr so he did, thats two of us he has confused now....!!!!

I think you'll find that FF is referring to this: quote So it meant that the final game between Saints and Atletico would be a “winner takes all” encounter. unquote Edit: Sorry, good piece btw, enjoyed reading it. Being as I work in Germany most months and see a fair bit of their football on the box - I can appreciate what Tim says. That said - there are some stunningly atmospheric games in the Bundesleague.
-
I was told exactly the same - only 70 sold. The club is not bothering with the stadium for this one - all fans will be invited to sit in the players area and on the bench. Some may even get a game, bring your kit. First one in, get the nets up please, last ones will be reffing and running the line. FFS - can the football season please start, I really cannot handle too much more......

I really don't think it matters who owes what to whom, or the level of the debt for that matter. The fact will always remain that we went into administration because we were poorly run, PFC went into administration because they were poorly and negligently run. In a way, we were quite lucky that our debt, albeit only 5k (above agreed overdraft) provided a 'hair trigger' to putting us on the path to admin. We could have done a PFC, ignored it, continued on our merry way to in excess of 100 million pounds worth of debt. As far as I can see there are very few parrallels between our administration and PFC's, very few indeed.

I just thank god that this thread is in the vain it is. Having seen some disgusting 'debate' on this board this morning, made me really want to just turn my back on this board and leave - it stank. Well done for highlighting, what I hope most people believe about this tragedy. I hope that the people of Norway, especially those most affected can find some way to come to terms with what has happened. As for the perpetrator - sorry but unlike some I don't believe he is any kind of martyr of deserves any kind of recognition - I hope he rots in hell. Apologies for ranting on your thread.

I don't blame her family. As I said it was her life. But it was also plainly obvious from her last public performance that she needed some serious help. AW was surrounded by people who had the money and influence to do better for her. She wasn't your run of the mill drug addict who could probably hide away from people and decline without people intervening. They (the people that worked with her) tried to put her on stage, less than a month ago - just imagine the pressure of having to perform. Everybody who saw that performance could see that she was a very troubled woman - what about the management, producers, promoters, musicians and yes, family and friends that put that tour togeather. They were all blind - or just irresponsibly blind. It's not their fault, it's Amy's fault. But in life, we all need help and perhaps she didn't quite get all the help she needed.
-
Totally agree, on the last AW thread I said that it was time for her to be pulled out of the spotlight and time for people to help her. Aparently that is exactly what was meant to be happening, it was reported that she wouldn't be working again until she was ok. Ultimately it's her life (or was) - but I think there are a lot of people who have let her down badly.

It was a thought that did actually occur to me - not so much the legal bills, which I admit will probably be very significant. But moreso, how the gentleman concerned was detained and what appeal rights he might now have available to him.
-
I stand corrected - in this instance common sence prevailed - long may it continue in my opinion.

How long do medicals take...?

As has been suggested before - I think you need to check the documentation (if any exists) for the plot that you bought. Given the relative small size of said plot, if it has been encroached by 14 inches they probably have a case to answer. If the meeting that you refer to is an official council meeting, then I see no reason why you cannot request that it be made an agenda point. If they refuse, then obviously you can still try to raise the issue during the AOB session at the end of the meeting. Personally, I wouldn't be going with the intent to drop anybody in it - I would be going with the intent of preserving my (your) fathers resting place. If documentation was issued at the time the plot was aquired - you need to find it and refer to it.

Not really aware of any in England, but it was pretty widespread news when Anton Hysen recently announced that he was: http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/timfranks/2011/03/a_mans_game.html http://www.thelocal.se/32512/20110310/ Given that was a continental player, any English player coming out would probably be well publicised.

What is this thing called 'morning' that you all speak of...????

Is this Corps best shot.....

What Jackanory and Gemmel said - not too long ago 'boring boring Arsenal' was pretty much the norm. Yes he has his faults, but plays the game the right way and rarely resorts to the chequebook.

Where is the "wrist slitting, bridge jumpers, doom merchants, alpines shout, adkins out, rickies drought" post match thread...??? Tsk - this will never do...

Made me larf....!!!!

I stand corrected (slightly) - I still don't believe it would've got half the press without the celebrity angle.

He deserves to get banged up - but the fact of the matter is, had his (step)father not been probably one of the best musicians in the world, this would be nothing more than 3 lines on page 25 that nobody would have got too bothered about.
