Anybody know if there was a problem with VAR today? A couple of times the referee looked like he was waiting for a decision in his earpiece but there was nothing on the big screens. I'm sure the first goal was checked, but again nothing on the screens. Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk

Unfortunately I do believe that many have been put off from posting on this site now, most seem to come for information. I noticed the other day when I logged on that there were over 900 people using the site, even now there are over 800 people logged on, yet I doubt our regular posters number 50. That is what we did at their place, tripled up on him and it worked. Even though he got their goal we were comfortable by then. Would think that both Danny and Shane will fancy their chances against their back 4, they were all over the place today. We desperately need a win and 3 points to steady the ship. Sorry, but for me, worse in what I've seen thus far. That coupled with the fact that somebody stated yesterday that his last shot on target was against Sheffield United. That was months ago, I know he doesn't get on much but when he does, he needs to at least affect the game. From what I've seen so far, barring an assist, he appears largely ineffective. To be fair, it's a relevant question that Turkish asks. As quick as it was for us to get out of the relegation places over xmas / new year, with our current form we could as easily go the other way. I feel sorry for the younger generation who feel they have to live their lives through social media, thinking that comments made by inconsequentials are in any way relevant. In my day social media was scrawling derogatory comments, like 'Sharon is a slag' across the back of the bike sheds, or bus stops. Juvenile, I know, but nobody really got hurt, who really knew who 'Sharon, was. Unfortunately the world has moved on and it appears that social media has an awful lot of flaws. Ohhh please, be brief. The only way any of our lot will be going to Europe is on their holidays or if we can offload some of the deadwood to other European clubs. Burnley, Burnely, who we all say are ****e have just taken 6 points off of us like taking candy from a baby. There is no bloody way on gods earth that any of our lot will be competing in Europe.

Absolutely awful, at no point did we look like winning this. Should've just gave them the points and told them to **** off home. Absolute crap. I think it's probably time to give Burnley some credit, they don't keep beating us 'by luck', they are better than us and have been for some years. You may not like their style, but at the end of the day it's getting them wins and points. They could've won it by more today after we put 3 up top, Burnley looked more the likely to score. Was very interested to see this in the news recently. Having not lived in Southampton for some time - its a little concerning that it has come to this. However, I can't really say that I am that surprised, in my opinion the Police are not fit for purpose when it comes to 'low level' crime. It is what it is I guess. If you accept the fact that he wont score you goals but play him to his strengths then perhaps he's worth a contract extension. At one nil up, trying to close a game out, and needing somebody to run in behind and stretch people, he's your man. At one nil down and chasing the game needing a goal, he probably ain't.
