Think this is a great signing. A player with a lot of potential who has lost his way a bit. Good opportunity for him to kickstart his career again, I think he will be looking to become first choice so will be good competition. if we don't get VDV it won't be the end of the world. Wouldn't be surprised if they finished above us if Austin joined, they will concede a few but score a lot. Getting slightly concerned by our transfer activity, hopefully it's just a case of trying to get shot of Morgan first.

We've signed 3 players on permanent deals for a combined cost of what, just under £10 million? Is the money not available without sales? Or is it a new transfer strategy? I did warn you all.... very disappointed to miss out on him. I know he wasn't our player but we all the noise of how confident we were provided false hope. The bid was accepted a couple of weeks ago and most details except for medical were finalised on Saturday. We need extra players for the europa league and league cup. We're not a top 4 club who have the luxury of signing 2 quality players for everyposition, not sure what people expect.He's a low risk investment, but like many others he will be given a chance.
