No chance. I still think City can actually win the league. To suggest us overtaking them is as ridiculous as the relegation talk on here a few weeks back. The top 4 teams are sorted, but 5th/6th/7th to play for. It's probably between us, Utd, West Ham and (as much as it pains me to say) Liverpool. It's crazy how we have turned things round, but it was clear we had a decent squad. What's the position required for Europa? Depends what the expectation is now, half the muppets on this forum thought we were going to get relegated four weeks ago. If we want to push for top 6 and europa, then yes it probably is. We don't have too bad a run in, but I have no idea how many points will be required. The top 5 are sorted, but that 6th spot is definitely up for grabs. Great result, we were pretty comfortable throughout, and whilst there weren't many chances we were by far the better team and fully deserved it Have to mention the return of Forster. Whilst he has not been overly tested, his return seems to have provided the team with a massive confidence boost. We were never in any relegation trouble, but we can start to look up now and build a bit of momentum for a good finish to the season. Can see no reason we can't finish where we are now. I fully expected a season like this. However, I'm not worried in the slightest about relegation. I am more worried about the lack of ambition. Les has said we are a showcase club, we're just there to provide quality for the bigger clubs whilst attempting to get by through rebuilding a side every season. It's a strategy that might not be sustainable. Either way, it's sacrificing any ambition to go to the next level. Last season will be as good as it gets folks, deal with it. Lol calm yourself down. I love Koeman, and rate him more than MP. The Arsenal game was great, but if anything it highlights further that Ronald isn't getting the best out of his players. We have a decent set of players and got some good results earlier in the season. I didn't expect much, but we've been poor for a couple of months now. We're in poor form, but what is the point in questioning ambition? Les Reed has said we are a 'showcase' club.We are a selling club and that won't change.It won't get any better than last season.
