  1. Any news on whether Bolasie and Cabaye will be back for Palace? Sent from my D5803 using Tapatalk
  2. I fully expected a season like this. However, I'm not worried in the slightest about relegation. I am more worried about the lack of ambition. Les has said we are a showcase club, we're just there to provide quality for the bigger clubs whilst attempting to get by through rebuilding a side every season. It's a strategy that might not be sustainable. Either way, it's sacrificing any ambition to go to the next level. Last season will be as good as it gets folks, deal with it. 3. Lol calm yourself down. I love Koeman, and rate him more than MP. The Arsenal game was great, but if anything it highlights further that Ronald isn't getting the best out of his players. We have a decent set of players and got some good results earlier in the season. I didn't expect much, but we've been poor for a couple of months now. Something isn't right and I get the impression RoKo isn't planning on hanging around too long. Sent from my D5803 using Tapatalk
  4. We're in poor form, but what is the point in questioning ambition? Les Reed has said we are a 'showcase' club.We are a selling club and that won't change. It won't get any better than last season. Anyone who can't understand or deal with it and expects us to regularly challenge foe the top 6 best find a new club to support. Sent from my D5803 using Tapatalk
  5. Awful. If we don't beat Palace next week Koeman has to go. Sent from my D5803 using Tapatalk
  6. Just think we will struggle with the short turnover time, less than 48 hours is ridiculous. We ran ourselves into the ground on Saturday. Having said that, West Ham are low on numbers and confidence. Think we will have to settle for a 1-1 draw. Sent from my D5803 using Tapatalk
  7. Just need Ward Prowse to score then I might wake up Sent from my D5803 using Tapatalk
  8. Koeman must have been offered another job. Sent from my D5803 using Tapatalk
  9. Saints 1 Arsenal 3 West Ham 2 Saints 1 Norwich 1 Saints 1 Sent from my D5803 using Tapatalk
  10. Going to have a big bet on Arsenal. That should guarantee us at least a point. Sent from my D5803 using Tapatalk
  11. We were always going to struggle to match last seasons efforts. The fact is, in the summer it was easier for the likes of Stoke, Palace and Leicester to strengthen. We had to sell first, then attempt a minor rebuild. Very much a case of one step forward, two steps back. I think our recent success has led to too many people expecting improvement season after season. It's simply not possible with the way we are run. We're all p1ssed off with our terrible form, but we will turn it round. We can moan how Leicester and Watford are better than us, but if they keep it up then it's doubtful they will be lining up with as strong strikeforces next season. We have the FA cup still, the league campaign was always going to disappoint. The most frustrating thing was the Europa league exit. Now Ron has the Christmas period to show what he's really made of. Will be interesting to see who he picks for the Arsenal game. Sent from my D5803 using Tapatalk
  12. Let's just wait and see where they are at the end of the season Sent from my D5803 using Tapatalk
  13. But it's absolutely impossible with the way the club is run. The fact is we sell our best players, if that's the strategy, fine. But for Les Reed to say the aim is still Champions League is just ridiculous. It's just frustrating that all the talk isn't backed up by showing some balls in the transfer market, in terms of both buying and selling. We are having a bit of a crisis, but it's to be expected. No need to panic just yet, but the next few fixtures are worrying, as is the lack of goals in this team. Maybe Koeman is starting to run out of ideas. Sent from my D5803 using Tapatalk
  14. Can't remember the last time a build up thread was so negative. 6 weeks ago we would have been confident of getting a result. I fully expect our revival to begin tomorrow. Sent from my D5803 using Tapatalk
  15. Gazzaniga?? Yoshida??? Long??? Seriously????? Sent from my D5803 using Tapatalk
  16. It's crazy. Arsenal had two poor results ( lost at WBA and a point of Norwich) and have gotten away with it. City looked to be running away with it but have shown that even they can't cope with their best players being injured. Leicester look like the only team who want to win it! Think it will be between City and Arsenal, it really will depend on Aguero's fitness for the rest of the campaign imo. Sent from my D5803 using Tapatalk
  17. All that title talk and they are 2 points ahead of us. I know we are on a bad run of form and everyone thinks we are in some sort of crisis, but a few weeks ago we were playing some decent stuff and getting good results. There's no reason we can't turn things around. Sent from my D5803 using Tapatalk
  18. The league is so competitive this season, it's all going to come down to fine margins. There's no real standout team, and Newcastle, Villa and (a slightly improving) Sunderland appear to be the only real **** sides. We really have as much chance of finishing 7th as we do 17th. RoKo really needs to show what he is made of and overcome this poor run of form. Sent from my D5803 using Tapatalk
  19. Just going through a bad spell at the moment. It's difficult to be bothered about today's result, wednesday was the important game. First real test for RoKo now to get us fired up again for Christmas and the FA Cup. Sent from my D5803 using Tapatalk
  20. Yep, we can go and beat them 6-1 like last season, and it will count for very little. The only positive is we can still sort ourselves out before the first FA cup game. Is the draw in the next few days? Sent from my D5803 using Tapatalk
  21. Spot on. How can we possibly claim Champions League football is the aim, when we continue with the transfer strategy we have? Last season was sadly as close as we will ever get. This year the league is far more competitive. Liverpool and Spurs have both improved significantly, as well as the likes of Stoke and Leicester. Sent from my D5803 using Tapatalk
  22. It's not about the response on Saturday at all, we can get beaten 10-0 for all I care. Tonight was important, the most important game for us for a year. A decent chance for silverware and we ****ed it up. It's simply unforgivable. Still, at least we might beat Villa and go 8th in the league or something, that would really make up for the disappointment of tonight. Only the FA cup to play for now.
  23. He offers very little other than an occasional good delivery into the box. One goal ( which was a penalty) says it all. He's had a few seasons now and isn' t really developing or improving. I've said for a while he's a championship player at best. For some reason though, maybe because he's another one from the academy, we are meant to give him time. Enough is enough. 24. Our biggest game in over a year. Losing is not an option. I think Klopp will rest a few, especially as they are playing tomorrow. Think we will just do it, 2-1 (Pelle 28, Tadic 72) (Ibe 81) Sent from my D5803 using Tapatalk
  25. I remember the Fulham game in our first season back. Yoshida had a shocker, he,s clearly not comfortable there, thought RoKo might have realised this Sent from my D5803 using Tapatalk
