Depends how long it takes us to get out of the slump we are in. Since we lost to Bristol City at home, our home form has gone. We have done better away, but just need to get back winning at home and drawing away and we will be automatic promotions. Otherwise we will drop play offs or maybe out all together.

Will be interesting to see who does get appointed captain though. Last time round it was Rio, and he has gone now, wont make the squad IMO. Gerrard maybe, but not been fit for a while. Would be good to give it to a younger player, but Rooney is the only was certain of playing and he is missing games through suspension. Too early for Whilshere, Maybe Joe Hart? Parker? Cahill?

Ssn just said if west ham get promoted Morrison wage will be £65k a week!

Don't need him, it's not as though he is 19/20 years old. He's 25, yes he may be a late developer but can't see him developing too much further, especially if we are in the prem next season.

I would imagine the earliest we might hear something is early this evening? I would imagine saints will try and get any deals done today considering we are playing tomorrow. Anything later would surely disrupt our preparation for Cardiff game.

How come you need to sign by 12 noon on a friday to play on a saturday but you can sign in the morning on monday and play later that night?
