Good posters that don't bother any more and you can see why!
Crab Lungs replied to Turkish's topic in The Muppet Show
That's fair enough. I've always quite liked VTTF as a poster, but that's fair do's. I think you and the Bear make a great double-act. It's certainly quite an amusing time-killer, browsing through your ripostes to eachother. Do you know him in "real life"???? New "victims"? I'll do the rolly-eye thing. Sorry Bear, but I hope you understand. Primal instincts have overriden common decency now. There, I done it. What did I win? -

Absolutely not. I don't see it like that any more, I was wrong about you. Anyway, I think it was that avatar you had previously which I didn't agree with... that more than anything grated me. I don't know why. Now, Bearsy, it's all roflcopters from here. KUTGW! -

Oh hell, I didn't see it. I'll go a-searching now... it was on this thread, right? (Thanks in advance for the sexy Japanese lady, one day, I'll meet one in real life). I thought you and Bearsy will pals? I'm wrong? Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!? Yup, that's it. It might look like "mob mentality" to some, but I don't think it is. If someone is continually wittering on about the same, boring (and quite often), factually-baseless rubbish then someone's going to pull them up on it. Irrespective, even if it's an opinion and it's challenged, by the same people, I don't see it as "trolling" or "bullying". Both parties surely have the right to say what they want, right - even if it ends up in arguing the toss? (which, inevitably, it does) -

Some of it is crap, yes, and can seem a little clique but jeez, some people do need to lighten up on here. Whenever I saw Bearsy post in his earlier weeks of joining I rolled my eyes... but he's grown on me, definitely. Especially when he refers to Tokyo-Saint as "Tokyos". Also what is regarded as "trolling" can also, IMO, be misconstrued as quite the opposite. In fact, if you read through some of it you'll find the same people arguing/debating but you'll also see that the person(s) they're debating with could easily be referred to as trolls as well. They reiterate the same, boring mantra but it appears now that if you challenge it, you're trolling them. I don't understand that at all. -

Joking aside, the people who are being alluded to on here as "troublemakers" are well within their rights to question the drivel on here. Problem is, if they do its "point scoring" or "bullying" and so forth. What is overlooked often is why they are questioning it... -
This can't be right. No "bestest?"

PS: For those who think people are rounding on him and reject all progress for the club. For me, it's absolutely clear; All it is the same people asking the same pertinent questions to someone who refuses to listen. No-one objects to progress, but they have a right to reject someones viewpoint, especially if it's skewed in their opinion.

OK, OK. Here's the crux of my questions. I've emboldened the bit where I've asked what I'd like to know, but so far I haven't had any answers. I've quoted MLG's original diatribe to "set the scene" for you. Here you go; Question 1: And how many games was that? I'd love to know. Question 2: How big do you think we are, seriously? Question 3: How many times have they sold out then? I'd like to know. Question 4: I'd also like to know as to why you think it's a sensible investment to spend £30m+ expanding the stadium on the basis that a few games out 19 this season were sold out (and bearing in mind that it's still a novelty as we're back in the top division for the first time in seven years). Question 5: I didn't realise you'd been following their work for so long. I'd love to see some examples of their joint projects together.. then we'd know that it isn't factless bile, won't we?

Still waiting.

Oh, you only respond when it suits you. OK then.

I'm still waiting to hear a response to my questions.

After 19 games, it shows little else other than potential. To base a huge redevelopment plan costing £30m+ on a few sell out games over 1 season is ridiculous. And how many games was that? I'd love to know. Let me guess... the bigger games, right? The Arsenal, Man Utd, Man City games, right? So if we played Sunderland at home in a 50,000 seater stadium, they'd likely be 22,000 odd seats spare. Yup, sounds like a great investment. I'm sold. Let's build it. :-/

I'm sure it was just a simple misunderstanding, a miscommunication if you will. I'm guessing we won't be hearing from him as he's bound and gagged, right?
-
Sounds like a good, original idea.
-
I can't wait for our cyclical return to the lower leagues in a 50,000 seater stadium. It'll be epic.
-
I get that, yes, we have to look and consider expanding our revenue streams, increasing our capacity and I'll be as happy as anyone if we did just that. That said, I wouldn't want you making decisions with my money. Just because we've sold out a few games this season doesn't mean we'll always do so. In fact, far from it. Plenty of clubs have stagnated once reaching the Premier League, with attendances eventually dropping. That could EASILY happen to us. And no, I can't clearly see an expansion of the revenue streams from a few architects drawings. I can see a nice stadium, a bigger stadium fascia and some kind offices, but that's about it.

It's not too small though, is it? How big do you think we are, seriously?

Typical arrogant t0ssers. They really are utter drips - like Adam says.

Maybe not, but he's better than Liam Walker, Jed Wallace and Ashley Harris. -
