  1. Rome. And if you don't mind taxiing in the evening to the main sites, I recommend here

    Redknapp

I hope we concentrate on the team more than Redknapp and whilst I don't like him, I hope there is nothing tasteless.
  3. Le Fondre is underrated. Schneiderlin and Lallana are better than many premier league midfielders and were last year even in the Championship. I wouldn't swap them (or cork) for any of the midfields outside the top 6.
  4. There are many brilliant, awe-inspiring places on the earth and I fully believe that the PTS thread is one of them. Whatever happens to us, nothing will ever come close to this on tsw. So many guffaws, chortles and ruined keyboards. We may disagree on the main board but on here we are truly united. It's fantastic. I don't want it to end, but I fear it will. Oh well, at least we will have many brilliant memories.
  5. This is incredible. Wtfiln.
  6. Looooooooooooool
  7. "Fantastic from the Pompey fans again" skate mouthpiece Mark Kelly on the blue "army".
  8. It's him, isn't it. What an absolute gimp. Exactly the same arguments, referencing Chelsea, Man City previous attendances. Jesus H.
  9. I do agree that we are far, far better than the likes of the woeful Villa and QPR, pluckily annoying Reading, Wigan and probably Norwich and a couple of others but the truth is, we don't have the points to justify it. I've watched all of the teams this year and we definitely should be higher as we are clearly at home technically in the Prem, maybe even in the top half BUT the fact remains that we are still very much in the mix for relegation. A couple of wins or losses and the perspective could swing either way. Sustained success will bring in new fans, competitive pricing will bring in new and returning fans but we aren't even an established Premier League team yet, let alone a successful, European chasing one. Crazy.
  10. Irrespective of whether the expansion happens or not, do we even have an extra 28000 fans or for that matter, floating fans to fill the ground at £20 a pop? Unlikely. What about £15, £10 a go? Still unlikely. If we expand, will we even see a significant reduction in matchday prices? Unlikely again... Maybe some, but not a huge amount. I'm sure. We are, for all great football, just three points from the relegation zone and could end up back in the NPC with a wolves-sized problem for all our lofty aspirations. Yes, we have potential but we are still sizeably behind in terms of fanbase size compared to the likes of Sunderland, Villa, let alone Everton or Newcastle. Let's just try and stay in the Premier League for a couple of seasons first....
  11. It should be Le Fondre, Lambert, Rooney and Defoe (if all fit). Possibly Sturridge, but on performances/goals, it's got to be those four. Then again, it never will be so I've just about given up on England.
  12. No, you're right... he just immediately came to mind. Would be very surprised if an English club/club's officials were involved though.
  13. Twitchy. Stinks of him.
  14. I'd put my money on twitchy being involved. Levy finds out, then disassociates himself in the summer....
  15. Shut up you clueless c()nt.
  16. Gaaaaaaah nevermind. Cheers anyway
  17. I'm off to Rome for the Roma/Cagliari game tomorrow but I'm obviously going to be looking for a bar to watch the Wigan/Saints game on Saturday if possible... is there anyone who can possibly recommend me a place that'd have it on? Ta!!!! ))
  18. Sh1t club, c()ntish manager, sh1t, scatterbomb approach of trying to save themselves from imploding. Odemwingie seems like a right c()nt as well, so he probably suits them perfectly. It will be fantastic if/when they go down.
  19. Thought this was quite interesting... I won't say what happens, but it's quite cool that an American has so much passion for football...
  20. Up to 7 now
  21. I have always said playing well you stand more chance of winning than losing. Playing **** doesn't.
  22. Haha funnily enough, yeah, on redcafe. About 15-20% gave saints credit, the others just blamed the pitch, said they were poor (nothing to do with saints being good) etc. That said, when they engage their brains they're not a bad bunch tbh. Quite knowledgeable.
  23. Fair play to you
  24. shock, Boruc is good.
