Shock starter eh? Billy Sharp. Isnt he still at Forest though....?
-
If anyone has photographic evidence of FP, they'll probably see that there wasn't 10,000 there...
-
There is no way they had over 10,000 at Fatpipes tonight. More mythical figures.

Ok, **** it, I'm coming clean with one. Lucas Mugni. There you go, google away. Not linked yet but.... -
Lucas Mugni is better.
-
That'll do it. Yup, we're bigger!
-
You alluded to it. It is very unlikely we will ever be the size of club Everton is. We will very unlikely average higher than them unless they are relegated and stay in the lower divisions for some considerable time, meaning their support would likely wane over generations. I repeat though, this is very, very unlikely to happen. We are not bigger than Newcastle. We are not bigger than Chelsea. We are not bigger than Sunderland and we are not bigger than Leeds, Sheff Wednesday or Aston Villa. Over time, can we be? Unlikely. Again. We are barely comparable, let alone bigger. Sh1t out all the percentages, stats and supposed facts you want, it won't matter. You're wrong.
-
Jesus Christ. I don't have the energy or willpower for this.
-
The fact you're saying that we would bridge the attendance gap between us and Everton regularly.
-
Are you really saying we're on par with Everton?

I don't think he's that great to be honest. He may be in the future, but having thought about it... he's far from the complete player at the moment. Great potential though, but not enough end product... yet

I think people should cut the "doom mongerers" some slack, its not as if we have previous with being regular European contenders. I can understand if we were a returning giant but we are not. We are an average to at best, large club which has taken huge leaps in the past two years. Most of us grew up knowing only top flight relegation struggles as the norm. Its all very well having aspirations but we are far closer to unravelling in the midst of a sh1tstorm than we are European contenders. It's a smattering of realism, pessimism and hope.... Not blind faith. If it happens, great. If it doesn't don't be surprised.

MLG, hang your head in shame.

Better than 80% of Premier League midfielders in his position, as he was last season. As Lallana is too, even when we were in the NPL1 and NPC, as I said.... To me, a good player is a good player...irrespective of the "level"
-
The players did not get Adkins the boot... They enjoyed working with him. I think that's fairly evident in the displays and results. As for the Cortese interview, carefully timed and easy to put over the "official line" when you've sewn everyone up on NDA's.
-
In other words, Cortese is trying to "fast-track" our progress?
-
Yup... Hopefully it's all settled down now...
