I predict we'll be outplayed by yet another small international team but somehow win or draw and everything will be ok again.

Christ, what a terrible side.

Wayne Bridge second on F365's list of overcapped England players

Shame this the only version I could find after a quick search but it's still great to watch. I'd have loved to have done that, or Beatts/Sharp's celebrations infront of those pikey shysters. -

That's superb and worrying, all at the same time! Come to think of it... you obviously know me from somewhere.... I'm assuming we've met outside of the mongboard world...

Pearce can f()ck off. He thought Lallana wasn't good enough in a midfield that included Henderson, Albrighton, Cleverley, Muamba, Lansbury and Rodwell. Granted, not all "creative" players but pound-for-pound, Lallana beats the spots off them. Welbeck, Delfouneso and Wickham as three of the four strikers too. It won't matter anyway soon, he'll be a full international soon irrespective.

In what year can we realistically challenge Europe's
Crab Lungs replied to Barry Sanchez's topic in The Saints
I've no idea, honestly. If we continue to progress, perhaps we can expect a tilt next season (assuming we stay up, add 2,3 possibly 4 steady PL players) and if our current squad continue to learn and develop at this level too, it's possible. They'll have to be a rapid change with our naivety, though. -

Terrible article. No Jenas? David Batty was twice the player than him and he's gets lampooned? Terrible, terrible, terrible. -

Is there any team you dislike more than Pompey?

QPR. Everything about them. -
You're not the Justin who done the DUCK OFF LOWE banner, are you? Just wondering...
-
You're probably right.

It's early days, but I've not seen anyone come from the academy who has looked as "complete" as Luke Shaw, including Bale. (Not saying Shaw will be better or is the finished article but for his age, he's shown unbelievably maturity).
-
FWIW, I hope that opinion of him is commonly held by his fellow fans, likewise the rest of our players. Long may that not be coveted.
-
It may be a biased opinion but.... really? http://hereisthecity.com/2013/03/08/ld-fabios-return-will-block-any-manchester-united-bid-for-luke-s/ One of the worst articles I've ever read. Big clubs really do believe their own hype, don't they? We've had Liverpool fans describe Jordan Henderson as "world class" and now we've got this strange news piece telling us Rafael is one of the best, if not the best right-back in the world and Fabio is better than Luke Shaw. Yes, I know a few got a bit carried away with Kelvin's nPC form but this truly is crap. This is exactly why the likes of Cleverley get in the England squad. Overrated massively, but at a "big club.

Without Crouch's last minute wages intervention (not to mention the loss he suffered fronting up the cash for MLT's consortium IIRC), we'd have been seriously fooked. Thank you, Leon.
-
St. James Park? Yeah, ok then. It's more hostile for the home team, not the away...
-
He's been absolutely superb. I think I've only seen one player give him the run around this year. Chelsea can poke it.

None of me yet. Oooooooooooh. Tokyo's might be able to make an accurate depiction though...
