  1. Thanks BARCELONASAINT, appreciated - I'm going to make sure he gets, at the very least, a hard copy of all these contributions. Awesome response.
  2. Oh... it happens! Fair play to coming back!
  3. Thanks for stickying, whoever did that
  4. I don't even know what you said!?
  5. Absolutely no problems at all... hopefully, as I said above, I'll get something resembling a book over to him in the next week or so
  6. Looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool But seriously, I was so f()cking angry on Friday when I heard I registered the domain at work then hastily upped the site when I got home. Still angry, but now coming round to that maybe it was the right thing to do considering the contributions so far. I'm sure Nigel will appreciate it, anyway.
  7. The ones about headphones by any chance, lol... swept through a lot of it earlier but will take another look... I couldn't find too many bad 'uns, think I've got about 12 comments in "spam"
  8. Thanks bud, appreciated... this is going to be a pretty thick book! Ha, I think the site serves as that exact purpose as well in a way. As tempted as I wanted to mention club politics, I thought it best to keep it as a simple "thank you" to NA seeing as we aren't going to be able to properly do so now..
  9. Cheers hypo, really appreciated
  10. via this lot, hopefully
  11. That's definitely going on the book.
  12. Thanks for that, interesting indeed
  13. Davis toeing the official line because he has a job for life? Who knows, but the media reports about players being left angry and confused is nearer the mark from what I've been told. And that's why I'm so f()cking angry. Ah well.
  14. manji, you and are normally very similar in our leanings but at the moment I'm finding SFC and Cortese a bit of a tough one to stomach.
  15. The problem is with that is that the situation was needlessly created by a tyrannical chairman. I don't advocate or support negativity but I won't be surprised if the overwhelming feeling around the ground is hostile and negative. It was created by the boardroom mafia. I can only hope we put in a good performance and secure a great result as the timing of this f()cking dreadful. Y'see, everyone is already arguing on here... that's because of this whole sorry situation.
  16. One of the best bits I've read...;
  17. At least Cortese's last two appointments have, at the very least, been positive people it would appear. Glad we didn't get a miserable, blame-everyone-else g1t like Redknapp in, thankfully.
  18. I fear that we're no longer the "large extent" of the funding. Now we're in the Prem I believe that to be the case, anyway
  19. Hopefully it'll involve an artists impression of a 80,000 seater harbourdrome with champions league boards.
  20. For the first time in a long time I'm going to agree with MLT. Cowardly not to show up for the press conference.
  21. That's absolutely how I feel. I've basically just responded to someone else with the following; But there is also other factors, such as how it was done. From being a staunch advocate of Cortese and his Champions League ambitions, I've almost gone full circle. Now it feels all a bit hollow, a bit empty. I'm sure in time (and with results) things do get better but for some reason, this situation more than most has really irked me. It's left me doubting what I'd actually prefer; regular European football (if we even get that far) or a team that shared the finest qualities of it's manager. It's all still a bit hard to compute to be honest. On one hand, I know we have to be successful (to an extent) to keep our best players - but at what cost do we chase "success"?
  22. If you haven't already, please do feel to contribute http://www.onenigeladkins.com Somehow, we're going to try and get all the messages to him in book form. I'm sure he'd appreciated a few hundred more "thank you's" but it's been an amazing response already, so can't complain
  23. Likewise. I don't think some people really understand what we've lost. Never mind.
  24. Once a staunch Cortese advocate and will never deny the good he's done and may continue to do so, but for me he's always going to be a horrible little g1t.
