  1. What did he say? He does come across as a rather unpleasant character. But he's "Pompeeeee fru an' fru, ain't eeee?" Lol. Yes, that's right. Now's the right time to build the 36,000 pottydrome - just as you're levelling out at the bottom of League One. At least it'll give Puncheon something to sh1t in til 2016.
  2. Hi all I've got a friend who is selling a fully-signed Southampton home shirt from the 1995/96 season and I've been asked to advertise it on here. If you're interested, please let me know and I'll put you in touch with him. Obviously it's worth a few bob but instead of it going on eBay, it'd be good if we can find it a good home to someone on this board. Here's a pic of the shirt; If there's anyone out there interested or you might know anyone, please do let me know on here or via PM and I'll put you in touch with the seller. Thanks everyone. Ben
  3. Can't be true. What will the bestest say?
  4. "Tiny online company"....? What a tw4t.
  5. I absolutely never want this to end. It's hilarious. WTFILN
  6. Totally agree and been saying the same thing for ages. We are very lucky. Outside the top 4, there aren't many midfields that are better. Schneiderlin re signing is an indication that he believes we can or are at least trying to match his own ambitions....
  7. Ah, thanks. Great news! Especially now, like many of our players, are getting noticed...
  8. Brilliant!!! When was it due to expire? Defo a new contract? Looks like a GCSE paper
  9. I'm in on the olives, too.
  10. Had the same thing happen to me when I was on jury service. We had an uncle accused of sexual abuse and despite being a bit eccentric, the accusations didn't stack up. All the women on the jury had made their minds up due to the severity of the case and when me and a fellow juror argued that we had to be "beyond reasonable doubt" we were shouted down. It was horrendous. After hours of deliberation the judge went with the 10-2 and the blokes life - and his families - lives were ruined forever. The undecided women in the jury were bullied by 3-4 of the *****ier ones, who reasoned with them "Oh, he won't go to jail - he'll probably do some community service or something". Yes, you read that right. That was their understanding of the law. Unreal. Even during the case, the judge was steering the jury towards a "not guilty" and kept reminding us all that we had to be "beyond all reasonable doubt" . That guy is still banged up, as far as I'm aware.
  11. You've reverted to being special again
  12. Warren Aspinall?
  13. Yes, the penalty could very well be his fault but anyone knows that with the movements you make in football, it happens, it's natural. Try running with your arms by your side, it doesn't work. Sure, he was to blame for a few things this year but jumping on his back for every, single goal we concede is utterly pathetic and shows people up a bit, to be honest. Those who don't agree, I'd say one thing; assess the whole phase of play, not just the end result (Fox giving away penalty/Fox-Hooiveld incident).
  14. 1/ Lambert 2/ The re-signing of Lallana 3/ Fonte 4/ Schneiderlin (though over time, assuming he stays with us, MS will likely go above Fonte)
  15. I think jokes are a bit thin on the ground.
  16. Good. I don't blame satchel-face for relegating us, but I sure as hell don't like him.
  17. Twitchy going to relegate his second team from the Premier League then, by the looks of things. He looks utterly deflated. Oh well. No-one better than Bobby Zamora in the country at bringing other players into play. Errrrrrrrr, ok then.
  18. Another quatrain
  19. 3-0 wigan
  20. The biggest, bestest and greatest club in the world, forever and ever and ever.
  21. Prophecy in rallyboy's quatraine?
  22. About 14 (mostly fleeting) full appearances in professional football and you've adjudged him as not good enough for us, the NPC or League One. Really?
  23. Typical South African arrogance, thinking you can just do what you want. BTW, that court room looks strange... maybe I'm not seeing it right but it looks tiny and what exactly are the walls like in there? All I can see is some red, mottle effect stuff... Makes sense, I guess. I've had dealings with a few South Africans.. I've felt that they weren't impolite... just direct and a bit humourless. I tried and I tried, but I just couldn't strike up any rapport with them. :-/
  24. This is true. What is it about them?
