  1. Big time bottler as well. I'm not a massive fan of Corluka tbh, as you can tell. It'd be like having Mikael Nilsson at RB again
  2. I've been quiet recently, especially since I've now lost the template I was going to use to convert this wonderful thread and it's contributions into slide form. However, I'm loving the about-turn on the brave, plucky heroes who turned down moves in January, only now to be pillored from all quarters for not ripping up their contracts. Long may the pain continue. Sha la f()cking la.
  3. He's the same person who wrote off our entire youth team on a couple of fleeting appearances.
  4. This wouldn't have happened if we had a a FoB.
  5. if that happens, hope he doesn't play with Chappers... Could be a real "is it Gravesen or Carsley?" situation.
  6. Limewood Hotel, Lyndhurst
  7. Jordan Sibley's there ....
  8. I don't like him, but he's spot on.
  9. I'm sure Avram was impressed with Halford's tweet earlier, too.
  10. Brave, plucky, not-our-fault Pompey. Sick viewing.
  11. Upson and Green.... WHU in 2010/11... >>>>>>
  12. It's nothing to do with Colchester, I don't think. http://www.cu-fc.com/page/News/0,,10424~1480357,00.html Colchester Legends scratchcards, I think...
  13. Hmmmm. Argh, need white!
  14. Any chance anyone else can send me a pic of the supposed leaked photo? ;-) Ta
  15. Time for a new challenge for me... not sure where, not sure who so I'm open to suggestions! Btw, what do you guys do for databases etc? Does anyone here retain over 200,000 players... or is it just me? :-o
  16. Hmmmmm... So who was with adkins Thursday ....
  17. Yeah, me to :)o please
  18. I maintain he met Adkins on Thursday. Down to the player now
  19. Please, no. Not that again. I will PM you, TDD
  20. JRod is at SMS, factoid.
  21. According to Saintswebs Paul Chuckle, JR is in the building! Excited!
  22. Which is why I would never, ever let him play for England, again. He does it every time he plays and disrupts the rhythm of the team. Bloody roy-of-the-rovers rubbish...
  23. 1. Carrick, Britton, Osman, A Johnson, Jarvis, Pilkington, Joe Cole, Lennon... Lallana. Do you think other sides would really ignore that kind of attacking talent at their disposal? Answer is, they don't. They embrace them. Still, as a nation we have a habit of ignoring our better players, our mavericks (Marsh, Bowles, Le Tissier etc) in favour of limited footballers like Batty, Ince, Barry etc etc. 2. Yes, I mean it. If you put Schneiderlin in City's midfield, it'll have no other effect other than improve them. Put Barry in our midfield and our midfield would struggle. So, in your opinion, Downing, Milner, Barry etc are more likely to make something happen than a Lallana? Ha. Ok then. We'll revise that when he's doing the business in the Premier League, shall we? Doesn't matter what league you play in, if you've got it, you've got it and if you haven't, you haven't. A sizeable chunk of the England squad would not even stand out in the Championship as they're not very good football players - just fortunate enough to be catapulted into the EPL megastars category because they're English and have one or two decent games every now and then. Leon Britton is a perfect example of a better footballer who'd be hacking around in the lower leagues but is infinitely better than some of our more "established" internationals. I'm not complaining about the result (and thanks for free the diagnosis of mental illness, appreciated) but we were playing Norway who were, all in all, the better footballing side. This is why we keep getting outplayed by other nations.. continuous ignorance of our better footballers. FWIW, my ideal squad for the Euros is below. Wibble.
