Having had depression, I cannot agree with the comments that he was selfish. There is every possibility he perception of life was completely skewed and out-of-sync. I remember not being able to understand or feel other peoples emotions or reactions or feelings and I had little control over my own. Things happened impulsively and I was lucky enough not to tumble as far as poor Robert Enke. In most depression cases, the sufferer has thoughts of death, or of dying - but not of suicide. He really must have been at his wits end because it certainly wasn't a 'cry for help' - you have to really mean it to go toe-to-toe with a train

Yes, I wonder if Gartside realises the irony in suggesting Bolton as a club 'big enough' for the Premier League 2 tiered system? (Arguably, they aren't - so I wonder how he'd feel if they were demoted?)

Are you having lunch as well or is he having yours as well?

40% of their fans have voted 'sack him now' Just desserts to those few, I suppose.

Why is he such a fat *****?

Er, what else is there to do? It's a team game and he's making a massive contribution to the team by assisting. You need to ensure that he keeps his focus on the team and not himself. That said, he's just 10 - but surely he realises the importance of playing as a team and not for himself? Personally, I'd reassure him of the importance of his role at the moment and refer to other partnerships in football which are very much the same - unselfish players whose contributions make the team infinitely better. Refer and make a point of players being complimented on TV for assisting teams goals and at least emphasise that the game isn't entirely about personal achievement and goals. I'm sure he will grow out of it and the sooner he realises the difference he is making in other ways he will be the rounded, better player for doing so. Failing any of the above, does he take any of the set pieces for the team? You could always get him to start shooting from corners etc like I used to

and a big 'yes' to Pete from me also. Most of us can always tell a wrong 'un from a right 'un and the chasm between him and her is staggering.

Not so much a social, commercial, residential or economical reference I have to add - I guess what I'm trying to say is the little sister keeps herself a bit cleaner than the bigger, older fish-smelling one but is equally dislikeable.

My God, in a sense, what you have said there is what I have been saying for a long, long time. Even if you go for a night out on the town, its hard to find anyone who hasn't looked like they've come straight off a TopMan/TopShop conveyor belt. Same dress sense, same haircuts and I've also found, little individuality or personality. Whatever happened to independent thinking or finding yourself and becoming an individual in you're own right?

she's an odious, disgusting creature and it worries me how many girls look up to her as a role model.

Oh great, last thing we want is an influx of 2,000 gobby dribblers rattling their buckets at us, pleading 'save the cherries' bournemouth = portsmouth's little sister

I'm delighted for Haye and I'm even more delighted that it shut Don King up.

I wonder how Gartside would feel if they said 'OK, you're right... two-tiered Premier League it is. Oh, and by the way, Bolton will start in the Championship. Good Luck!"

Anyone who watched Dodd's management of Eastleigh can safely determine that he is most definitely not the next Georges Prost... they were bloody awful! Anyway, let's see.... fingers crossed.

I loved reading that, part of me feels really happy for him fulfilling his dream - or at least having an opportunity to do so. Good Luck Aaron!

I, for whatever bizarre reason, like to reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally go in depth with my tactics and fashion a tactic that I would like my teams to play, no matter the opposition or league (though I do tweak sometimes.) However, I've just created a superb attacking tactic, standard 442 but lots of one touch, fluid, quick passing - for pixels, it really is a joy to watch. I'll upload it if anyone wants to give it a go? Very proud of my team so far. :-) -
Bloody hell, he's nosedived :-o

I must ask... what is your spec firstly? I am running about 141 leagues (with all players, clubs retained, lol) at the moment on a half decent laptop (dual core t9400, 4gb ram, windows 7, 2.53ghz) and the runtime between games is around 7 minutes, maybe 15 in total if you account all the farting around I do with the squad, training, tactics etc (I do alot!) What I'd love to have is a 8gb quadcore desktop for FM.... one day.... one day....

LOL, oooh, Corpy's touchy these days.
