What were moaning at here is a few lads on the beer, having a good time. Some of you old farts need to get a grip and join the real world were hardly Milwall ffs.
Were on the pish, the pish, the pish, for Matt Le Tiss, Le Tiss, Le Tiss....
Met Emile Heskey in the Hilton Hotel bar in Sofia in September after Bulgaria v England.
Also met Noel Gallagher on a train back from Manchester to London after Huddersfield away 2 years ago.
Was quite impressed with our support yesterday.
Maybe the fans saying our support looked good on the telly should make a bit more of an effort to go rather than just rely on everyone else.
Anyway, roll on West Ham!
Part of me misses going to away games with no expectation. Happy to take anything other than a gutless 3-0 defeat.
Anyway Im more looking forward to the M.Tours pub crawl round Birmingham that has been prepared for the trip.
Looking forward to this one, like the idea of 5:20 games now and then. Time for a good pre match sesh. As for the result we have lost up there on my previous 2 visits so hopefully third time lucky.
The training ground being on hold is because Cortese is looking for the best I mean cheapest contractor. I believe Leadbitter have one the contract though and work will start in the next few months. Just finalising all the paper work.
Give it 10 years when the novelty of getting coaches or waiting an hour for a train will wear off and they will be lucky to get 10,000 crowds. The American Express (Pathetic excuse of name) stadium, built in the middle of nowhere is as bad as going to Coventry. However at least Coventry has parking though!
St Marys may be similar to other stadiums however, its in a part of town which makes it easily accessible for people driving and going by train. 15 minute walk from the city centre meaning you can have a good drink or wonder round town rather than wait for a packed bus to take you to the middle of nowhere. Brighton have clearly overlooked these things, and like Coventry, Colchester etc I think they will see their crowds dwindle when the novelty of a new stadium has worn off.
