  1. Still trying to play the forum hardman role then?
  2. I cannot get over the fact that Cedric soares (pronounced in the finest 'ammmpshire accent of course) sounds more like a nasty infection than a premier league footballer.
  3. I see Blackmore just mugged you off on twitter for passing that info off as your own half hour ago when he posted it days ago  “@ConnorArmstrong: Nathaniel Clyne has been spotted at the same London hotel as a member of Liverpool's transfer committee. (via @bigadamsport) #SaintsFC #LFC” 18/6/2015 21.45 “@bigadamsport: @ConnorArmstrong slightly historic - 2 days before the 10M bid was made public”
  4. Agreed. I thought we looked relatively comfortable with him on the pitch. Was neat and tidy, used the ball well and always available for a pass, went close with the free kick. As soon as he went off Portugal took control, Carroll who was the worst player on the pitch IMO stayed on and JWP came off, strange decision and could well have cost England the game.
  5. Although one of the mods on here is, shall we say over zealous and sensitive, having strops like teenage girls when someone says something he doesn't like, it's better than it used to be. I remember the days when infractions were dished out like confetti. The best reason being for 'stupid or pointless comments' you could make a case for 90% of the stuff on here falling under that category. The greatest infraction of all time was when I got one for 'stamping on people's dreams' by saying we would never be a regular champions league club, whilst we were in league one!
  6. So does Pap now qualify as one of the good posters who don't bother anymore and you can see why?
  7. But a shot into the goal keepers arms and a shot that hits the cross bar do not have the same value as you stated they did. :mcinnes:
  8. Incorrect yet again. A scuffed shot that rolls into the keepers armed would go down as to be on target, one that hits the cross bar from 30 yards would be deemed off target. http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/mrmen/images/c/ce/Mr.Wrong.gif/revision/latest?cb=20090713110933

    Wanyama

And if anyone would know if there is any news on twitter it's you, hey pal.
  10. Is your contribution to that forum of the standard it is on here? To moan all the time and only post about how terrible the forum is or to have a go at another poster you don't like.
  11. Because most football fans are compete and utter crumpets and it's fashionable at the moment to have a downer on england. When there is a performance which isn't brillaint then people like Adrian Durham do a great job of whipping the nation up into a frenzy as to how bad we are and the players don't care. Then Mugs like most that post on here suck it all up and pass it off as their own views.
  12. Personally I'd go with Davis Clyne Stephens Turnbull Targett Ward Prowse cork Reed Bertrand Rodriguez Gallagher Cork obviously included because he's the best midfielders in the history of Soccerball and should never be sold. The rest of the team goes by our selection policy of *insert name of saints player* is the answer, what was the question?
  13. I think you'll find it was an Ecru craze lead by us and Liverhampton (that always cracks me up) The fashion conscious, or anyone over the age of 10 who isn't and obese, scruffy, odd ball wouldn't wear a football shirt with jeans Whose twitter feed was that on?
  14. Because a millionaire footballer on £40k a week would live in the tower blocks of newcastles roughest estates and spend his weekends doing 2 for 1 shot deals in Yates and 'spoons with the other obese, reebok clad geordies.
  15. I presume people are talking about on Football Manager.

    Danny Ings

How many midfielders have we got who score 7 or 8 goals a season?
  17. He'd better keep those spoons under lock and key with all the thieving scousers about.
  18. Ask not if you can win the champions league, but how.
  19. Zlatan Ibrahimovic anyone? AC Milan have offered him a 6.5m euro deal. If we can flog Gashton and Oswowdo We'd still be up on wages. Never played in the premier league before and would love a chance too as well as to be part of something special. The Curva Nord at the San Siro has got nothing on the chapel Kop. All together now He stands just over 6 foot 3 zlatan, zlatan He'll take us to the champions league zlatan, zlatan He wears the shirt Lee Barnard He's bigger and just as f*cking hard Zlatan Ibrahimovic southamptons goal machine
  20. Looks a James Milner type player hard working decent player who can do a decent job in a number of positions. However I doubt this one will be a fans favourite as he seems solid rather than spectacular mean the majority of the mugs on here will think he's sh*t and be slagging him off before his fifth start.
  21. The relentless boll+cks on here shows no sign of letting up. People moan and whinge we didn't sign a striker in January now we're linked with the 4 highest scorer from last season it's too much, where does he fit in, bleat bleat bleat. £15m for a 25 year old English striker with 17 premier league goals last season is a good price. 2 of the 3 players that finished above him in the scoring tables last season cost north of £30m and the other was linked with a £40m move to Man United. He'd be a great addition, a front 3 of Austin, Rodriguez and mane would be excellent. With those 3, Pelle and Long as attacking options we'd have excellent strength in depth up front and the ability to be able to play a few systems.
  22. what a sad inditement of our fans and city. Away fans should hate coming here knowing they were in for a hard time on the pitch and an even tougher one off it. They should be more worried about the cauldren of hate that is St Marys rather than the nice pies and comfy seats. Still at least it seems Cortese spent the away fund so managed to do something right.
  23. I remember the days when people on here panicking Liverpool would try and get Adkins. Can someone remind me at what point in the last 2 1/2 years Adkins went from being the next great English manager, the new Alex ferguson and a shoe in for the England job to someone who is a great fit for Sheffield United?
