No, I did a tax return and got £54 back (Whoop!). Also i get a car allowance not a company car. Nothing has changed.
-
Got my new tax code through and it's changed to a K230 number which means this month according to my pay slip i wil pay over double a month more in tax than in March despite my circumstances not changing at all. Any ideas as to why? According to their calcualations i have a tax band adjustment of -£16737 a benifit of £374 leaving a total of -£17111, with -£2311 tax due which has been turned into this code. Is this a cock up or am i missing something?

Did you condemn her and have to sell your home garden grown carrots before you could buy anything else?

We all know what'll happen and that's he'll be rumoured to move all summer, nothing will happen and he'll end up on loan again.
-
Hang on a minute, it was your assessment, not mine, it was your criticism of cork not mine. you're the one trotting out points per game with both and suggesting we get twice as many points with Wanyama in the team and not cork, so you're the one being overly simplistic. To quote you ' "Can it be coincidence we gain twice as many points as when playing with an inferior player in a key position" "Its about results" The points and matches you quote are 16 and 18 games so almost half a season, Using your assessment and points per game Cork in the team over the season gives us 33 points and relegation Wanyama in instead gives us 68 and a good chance of top 6 Your figures pal, "it's about results" as you said. cork was here last season, Wanyama wasn't, last season prediction of 6th with last seasons squad is yet again exposed as bullsh*t.
-
So you're basically saying when cork plays we're a team that would struggle to stay up, when Wanyama plays he turns us into one that would finish in the top 6. So much for your brash 6th placed finish with last seasons squad claims last year.

Fair enough. I think he's got potential and playing confidently in a decent side he could shine. I'd certainly rather spend our money on a player like him than an Osvaldo type.
-
Not really odd though is it. I also haven't said he's guaranteed to improve. I've said you're writing a 21 year old player off for not doing as well over a long period as Linekar, Cole and Van nistelroy, three of the best strikers of their era playing for top clubs, when he's only played 11 times in the premier league this season in a team that has struggled. Hardly a fair comparison is it.
-
He's 21 FFS! Done it at u21 and championship level. He scored 3 in 11 appearances this season for Sunderland, a team who have been bottom 3 for much of the season which isn't bad. Linekar didn't start playing top flight football regularly until he's 23. I'm not saying he'll be as good as linekar but You're prepared to write off a young kid for not doing it regularly before he's out of nappies in football terms.
-
Got to be there to finish them and finding space in the penalty area against those sort of teams isn't easy. Gary linekar made a career out of scoring taps a league two player could finish, yet he's widely regard as one of the best strikers or his era.
-
He obviously isn't absolutely dreadful. He's a 21 year old kid who got a big money move before he was in his twenties and been playing in a team that's been dreadful for the last couple of seasons. He's got a decent record at U21 level and in the championship whilst on loan. If he was our player everyone would be indignant the the was a young lad still learning the game and was now coming good and should be in the England squad as he's five times the player Qndy Carroll is.

I don't like to brag about my qualifications as not only do I have 4 GCSES but also a city and guilds in travel and tourism. I also have a certificate in manual handling and am a qualified first aider. I hope to add to my long list of qualifications by achieving the NVQ level 2 is administration as I wish to progress my career from printer cartridge telesalesist to warehouse administrator where I can use my manual handling and admin skills fully.

For the first and probably only time in this forums history mr wrong has got something right. -
Never mind that, just think how many more shots at goal we've have had!

It wasn't a shock, he was a dead man walking since we failed to win the championship title. Some of the 'trolls' spoke about this and we're told we were wrong, he was a great manager and Cortese should stick with him even if we go down. The thing that was a surprise was the timing, half way through the transfer window and as having seemed to have turned the corner I thought he'd be given the season and then replaced in the summer.

I'd prefer vito corleone.

Steve Bruce? Comfortable finish and an FA cup final with a newly promoted team.

Let's look at his career here Th first 3 months were okay, a few decent performances but 6 months in and a few poor performances later he threw a tantrum because he was not selected ahead of oxlaide chamberlain. This resulted in him being loaned out to millwalla and Blackpool and we didn't see him again that season. After our promotion to the championship and AOC now gone he could have been part or that squad, instead he went on loan to QPR where he hardly featured, he also tweeted that he was happy to run down his contract with us and take every penny he could. After his failure to make a mark at QPR he returned to us towards the end of our championship season where he could smell the premier league, despite this he made little impact and spent most of the time as a sub. Premier league to give him his due he made a few decent appearances and scored a great goal at Chelsea, signed a contract extension and before the Ink was dry and signing on fee banked he decided he wanted to leave and move back to London. In short Jason puncheon is only interested in Jason puncheon. He's clearly a talented player but a few decent peformances against the lesser lights of the premier league don't make him the missing link some seem to make him out to be. The truth is he's been out on loan and sulking for the majority of his time here. Quite why some fans hold him in such high regard is beyond me.
-
I Remember being told in no uncertain terms on here that Antonio was a far better player than puncheon and would be a premier league star.
-
If you don't know you're a bigger lemon than I thought you were.
-
What they always were away from Corteses brags, a self sustaining premier league club.
-
Yep as some of the 'trolls' warned. People are starting to realise what was going on with Cortese, although he can still do no wrong in some peoples eyes, yet far from being the greatest man who ever lived, he was simply playing football manager with someone else's money. The line trotted out time after to time was about his drive and ambition, yet it easy to be ambitious when you have someone else's money to play with. Just because Cortese told people what they wanted to hear and that we could have it all, having the means to deliver his brash claims was evidently quite a different thing. If we now have to go through a period of book balancing and a few players sold then people shouldn't be pointing the finger at the lack of ambition of the current board, but looking at the false promises driven by the ego of the previous CEO.

You thought of me after touching your arse? Odd. it's fine mate, nothing to be embarrassed about, just a little bit peculiar that all.
